Deliciously Thai - Edit
Excellent Thai cuisine experience, the food is extremely well done, super delicious and full of flavor. The level of spiciness can be adjusted to one's taste, just ask the staff.

Unique versions of traditional dishes - Edit
Lots to choose from so we picked sides we’d not had/seen vegan versions of. We had a fish green curry with rice, pork and tofu with plant based omelette, butterfly pea tea and chrysanthemum tea. The food was good. The staff started clearing up and asking about dessert before we’d finished eating- seemed extra keen rather than trying to get rid of us. You have to go through the hotel via outside to use the toilet which was a bit strange

Lovely Cafe - Edit
Tucked away on a small street under the Dustin Hotel, this place feels like a little hidden gem. The owner was very sweet and welcoming. If you’re looking for home-style Thai food, this is a lovely spot to visit. The food is mild and light, the atmosphere is calm, and the street is full of cats, which just adds to the charm.

Fabulous experience - Edit
Found this gem on our last night, wish I would have found it sooner. The food is so fresh and delicious. I had the mushroom fried rice with vegan oyster sauce. Best stirfry I’ve had while travelling for the past five weeks in Thailand and Vietnam.

Cute little restaurant - Edit
We found this place by accident after a walk in the park and didn’t know anything about it beforehand.
Read moreSuch a lovely, quiet little restaurant at the end of the street — cozy both inside and at the outdoor tables.
The food was amazing: super tender tofu balls, a perfectly balanced stir-fried rice with basil, and an absolutely incredible plant-based omelette rice (really wow).
The team is very friendly, attentive, and fast.
We paid < 1,000 THB for dinner with drinks, which felt very fair for the quality.
Highly recommend.

Lovely Place, Okay Food - Edit
Wandered over to Baan Ying for my Christmas lunch. It's a lovely venue, attached to a hotel and the staff are all very welcoming and friendly.
Read moreThe plant based Pad Kra Pao was pretty good; although I wouldn't order it again, if I were to return.
The starter, which came after the main, was unfortunately a big let down. I had very high hopes for the deep-fried tofu with a chili cashew dip. And, whilst the dip was delicious, it was let down by the tofu, which had a very off-putting flavour and aroma: a chemical/metallic quality, which meant I left most of it.
They were very sympathetic to this, but I'm not sure if I was able to articulate the issue. I can only hope that it was a duff batch of tofu or something weird had happened to the oil it was cooked on, as I can't imagine anyone enjoying it.
Pros: Atmosphere, Friendliness
Cons: Disappointing strange tasting tofu

This place is beautiful, friendly and their food is bomb! They have a lot of authentic Thai dishes outside of the more known noodle dishes. I had a family style feast here with friends and everything was amazing.

Hidden Gem of Goodness - Edit
Fully vegan in a super cute restaurant and patio setting. Vegetable stew was a nice warm comfort entree not to be put done by the stuffed bean curd rolls. Honey sparkled iced tea as a cool treat. Very good meal and I would recommend it confidently.

Excellent* - Edit
*make sure you tell them if you want it spicy.
Read moreI was very clear to tell them (in Thai) that I wanted my dish very spicy with lots of garlic. It was just spicy enough with just enough garlic. It was excellent but not sure how it would taste if I didnt ask for it the way I wanted. The second dish was too sweet because we did not specify wanting it very spicy. Fried tofu was good but tofu tasted smoked, which I am not a fan of. Still a great meal and I will go back.

This place is perfect for anyone who doesn't eat meat, or for those who want to explore meat free options. The menu features bold, flavorful Thai dishes that are anything but bland, spicy, tasty, and exciting. Not only is the food great, but they’ve also got drinks that vegans can enjoy too. Love it! Authentic Thai Vegan Food That Hits Every Note - Edit
A must-visit for anyone looking for authentic Thai vegan cuisine in Bangkok! I had the stir-fried sticky rice, vegan chicken with chili and garlic, and red curry with tofu skin—and every dish was a knockout.
Read moreThe stir-fried sticky rice was a unique surprise—comforting, chewy, and full of wok hei flavor. The vegan chicken with chili and garlic gave classic Thai heat with a bold, garlicky punch. But the red curry? Creamy, spicy, fragrant, with tofu skin soaking up all that goodness. Absolutely addictive.
The space is peaceful and welcoming, with indoor and outdoor seating surrounded by greenery. It’s tucked in front of Dusit Suites Hotel, super easy to get to by BTS (Ratchadamri Station) or by car. They even serve vegan wine and coffee, making it the perfect place to chill all day.
Whether you’re a full-time vegan or just exploring plant-based options, Baan Ying Plant-Based is the real deal.
Pros: Good Vibe, Good food, Good drink and dessert
Cons: Not so many tables
