Nice idea, ok food

My fiance and I came to this place because we wanted to support a Vegan restaurant in Brazil. The staff were very friendly and the ambiance was nice. However, neither of us liked the burgers very much. They weren't terrible but I wouldn't want to bring a non-vegan there for fear they wouldn't want to eat vegan again. Bistro Rouge's burger was in another league compared to these.

Pros: nice staff, ambiance, inexpensive

Cons: less than tastey food

veggie fast food

Ambiente pequeno, mas agradável. Hamburguer de soja muito salgado, as batatas assadas são muito boas! É vegano, mas não deixa de ser junk food.

Pros: Vegano, batatas assadas

Best coxinha de galinha ever!

While visiting Porto Alegre, we were delighted to find B Burger. We had to go to a birthday party where traditional barbecue was served, so we had to get something quickly to take with us. The "coxinhas" were big and very filling. One has to look careful when passing by the restaurant as the façade look like any other burger chain, except the food is completely vegan. That's the idea, to look mainstream but yet cruelty free. Wonderful photos from a local horse sanctuary taken by the owner (who is also a photographer) add to the tastefully decorated space. If you love fast food you've got to try this place. They generally host events to generate awareness about animal rights issues, so it is also a great place to connect to local activists. A good place to take non-veg friends to try vegan versions of familiar foods, they will likely find the vegan "coxinha" just as good as the one they are used to. For the ones not familiar with "coxinha", they should definitely try it. We have not had a chance to try the burgers.

Pros: Ambience, Friendly staff, Good vegan versions of familiar food
