Love this place. Super Veggie and vegan friendly. The server is always happy to double check on everything to ensure it was vegan.

Indian classics - Edit
Not a lot of Indian restaurants in the area, but this one is certainly good. All the Indian vegan classics with a knowledgeable staff. Great option if you are going with omnivore folks

Great spot - Edit
Even though they're the only South Asian place around, they're as good as any Indian place in RI or the Boston area.

absolutely love! - Edit
Whenever I'm in New Bedford I have to stop by Dartmouth to get Ayur Shri! On top of the delicious food the owner is a very kind man. Very good conversationalist!

Address - Edit
The address that is 387 State Rd, Dartmouth, MA 02747 to type into your phone. We got the Paratha bread--yummy. The Aloo Gobi and Bagar Dahl. There are about 6 dishes that can be made vegan. The buffet didn't quite have enough vegan, depending on how much variety you want. We got vegetable samosas and vegetable pakoras, both were good, less oily than these dishes can sometimes be.

plenty of options for a non vegan restaurant - Edit
The staff was all so friendly and welcoming. There is a buffet and the menu is marked with a cow symbol of what is made dairy free and there is a big vegetarian section. The food was delicious also! :)

Local Indian option - Edit
Although not 100% vegan there are enough options to hit the spot when one is craving Indian food. Dartmouth's sole Indian cuisine option makes this a local gem. The space is small and lacking a bit of authentic character but I have never been disappointed with the food. Worth a stop if you're in the area and love Indian food.

delicious and a great dining experience - Edit
The carryout menu has a cow symbol with an "X" through it next to all the vegetarian menu items that can be made vegan upon request. There are several, including the roti that can also be made vegan. The server also showed me the items on the buffet that were vegan and he even made me a dish of fried cauliflower with spicy chutney from the buffet even though I ordered off the menu. We were very pleased with the service and the flavor. Convenient location - easy to access.
