Unfortunately, the "vegan chocolate brownie, served with vegan ice-cream (ve)" is served with dairy ice-cream.
Read moreI'd eaten a main at one of the other Sheffield Plate vendors, but picked this solely as a vegan dessert option. One of my friends queried this, and the worker showed them the dairy ice-cream tub. The menu is misleading and I'd double-check when ordering again. The brownie itself was tasty.

Enjoyed the Jackfruit Kothtu - very tasty and unusual (to me anyway!) with its shredded roti. Lots of other nice looking things in the menu that I’ll go back to try.

Found inside Sheffield Plate, Colombo offers a vegan options. I enjoyed the vegan Vadai and vegan Nasi Goreng, both of which were delicious and a good portion size

My first experience of Sri Lankan streetfood and hopefully not my last. We shared the parritphptu vadai (deep fried lentil and onion fritters) and noodles kothtu with jackfruit, which were very well spiced and really flavourful. We also shared some fries, which were good too.
