Disorganized

I think this restaurant has a lot of potential for vegans, but its current management leaves something to be desired. They were simply out of several of the vegan options listed on the menu, which was annoying. Also, under the vegan section in the menu, there are only three dishes listed, but throughout the menu, there are actually numerous other vegan offerings, so at first, it doesn't look too promising. Additionally, we waited a long time for our food, and we were the only lunchtime dine-in customers. Everyone else was picking up takeout, so the atmosphere seemed rather chilly. Also, since we were the only customers, I tried to speak with the proprietor about vegan food and the local vegan community, but she didn't seem interested, which surprised me. The food that we did order and eat was tasty, and the server brought us a little extra to make up for all the menu items that weren't available. I had the pounded plantain with peanut sauce and three small vegan pies.

Pros: Interesting menu , Numerous tasty vegan options, Server was friendly

Cons: Several vegan menu items were unavailable, The menu didn't showcase all the vegan options, Vibe is not very inviting
