Nice food and place - Edit
Relaxing on floor cushions while you wait for your food. The pancakes and tacos are yum. We went there two times and ordered the same.

Is it a joke? - Edit
We went there at dinner time to try a classier restaurant in Ubud. Menu is attractive but the food was the more tasteless we had in Bali and portions were also the smallest. We prefer eating in less flashy warung when you can get 2 good dishes for the same price and a big smile from the owner.

Cute Home Loving Feel - Edit
Walk into a sweet little room with big comfy cushions on the floor. All facing each other set in a circle. My friend and I ordered the burritos and a green veggie mix. They make beautiful warming teas. Homely environment. Healthy clean budget friendly meals. ALL VEGAN 🌱

Very Little portions :( - Edit
We ordered two mains (Tacos and Wraps) but were very disappointed. The portions were so small as if they were starters. The price isn‘t reasonable at all considerd us paying 92k and still being hungry.
Read moreAlso the Tacos were 80% plain salad leafs and about 19% Tomatos. The rest was imagination (or so called tofu)...
Pros: 100% vegan, Drinks were oke

Amazing food, mostly Balinese - Edit
I really liked the food there, although some people might find it too sweet. Also it's good value for money and the staff is friendly. It's a good alternative to the yoga Barn's restaurant which is not entirely vegan and closes up early.

This little gem was cozy and food was delicious. The Killer Satay was nice and the carrot cake! Very cheap! Go through the Yoga Barn to get there fast.

Amazing food! - Edit
One of my two favorite restaurants in Ubud (among the 10-20 vegan restuaurants I tried). During a trip throughout SE Asia, this was definitely one of the best.
Read moreI had the Killer Satay which was simply amazing! I liked it so much I went back to get it again the next day (which was sadly my last day in Ubud). I wish I had one of these restaurants in my home town!

Nice food. Decent prices. - Edit
It's off the main drag a little and I'd recommend not following the one set of directions from Ubud central (on google map), that takes you past and through the yoga barn complex. Theres not a straight path through and seems like a dead end at first, but you can get through by navigating the maze of the yoga barn resort complex. Theres another way you can go (2md route of gmaps) and seems less hassle.
Read moreAnyway. Ayo, is a place that is only sitting on the floor, on cushions. It's quite hot inside and has no AC. Just fans that they can put near you. I Had the murtabak (pastry parcels) and the satay, that was chargrilled and very good. The protein they use had a good texture. Prices were reasonable. Service a little bit indifferent, but I've found that to be the cultural norm and partly the language barrier. Was dissapointed with the lime soda drink. It wasnt lime juice mixed with soda. Was literally just soda water, with a bit of lime slice, that they charged more than it should be for such a simple drink. As opposed to a nice mixed juice.

Best food in Bali - Edit
This was our favorite food during our 9 day stay in Bali. We got the tacos, Killer Satay, Juice, and cookies. The Satay was amazing, full of flavor, our favorite in all of Bali. The juice was fresh and perfectly sweetened. The woman cooking was very kind. The prices were the cheapest we found on the island (main course $3 USD, juice $1.50 USD, cookie $1 USD), probably because it was off the beaten path. It's right near the Yoga Barn. Highly recommend.

Tasty Indonesian and fusion dishes - Edit
We visited Ayo Vegan several times during our 3+ week stay in Ubud. It's a relaxed atmosphere and all the food was tasty.
Read moreIf you want to eat local, the Nasi Goreng and Tasty Curry were both excellent. If you want to try a fusion dish, the Wulan Tacos and Wrap Star were amazing. The Wrap Star was like a fusion burrito with a big rice pancake instead of a tortilla. The insides were full of local flavors and it was served with hot sauce and some curry to pour over it.
Also try a cold coconut (there's so much juice inside!)
Someone else mentioned they thought this should be marked as one $. I'll agree, it's cheap by western standards, but I think it's mid-priced for the area. You can certainly eat cheaper in Ubud. Even vegan.
Pros: cozy, open air atmosphere, good value
Cons: you sit on the floor if that's a problem for you

Good food for a good price - Edit
The food was really great, especially the satay and the Green vegetables. Although it has 2 $ here on Instagram, I wouldn't say it is this expensive.

Great variety of dishes, convenient for yogis - Edit
Menu covers local and Western dishes, reasonably priced and good portions. I’m a big fan of their shortbread pineapple nastar cookies! Also super convenient for Yoga Barn yogis - it’s a minute or two walking distance from the parking lot. Staff are very friendly, the seating is cute and they have strong wifi.
