Colourful Quaint Friendly - Edit
Certainly enjoyed dropping into this very friendly, quaint and colourful fully vegan restaurant well off a main Road in Zipaquira. I had the Nachos Mexiveggie which was a delicious light lunch.

This place was such a pleasant surprise! We weren't expecting to find vegan restaurants in Zipaquira, but the positive Google reviews brought us in. It is a vegan shop, but also has a menu of meals and beverages.
Read moreI had the lechona and my friend had some empanadas and a cinnamon roll. All the food was delicious- my friend who is not vegan said the lechona tastes like the real thing. I highly recommend a visit here if you're looking for somewhere to eat in Zipaquira.

In an unlikely place, in an unlikely town you’ll find this incredible little haven of vegan food! The family-run business is a labor of love and the food is really outstanding. A lot of places with vegan options will offer the typical Mediterranean or Asian options but Awara actually has typical Colombian dishes like lechona, tamales, and empanadas that truly hit the mark. I would be a regular if I still lived in Colombia but I’ll be back whenever I visit! Una experiencia increíble y muy deliciosa! Todo hecho con mucho amor! Gracias😄

Es una tienda pequeña donde también puedes comer. Tienen hamburguesas y unas cuantas otras opciones. Recomendamos mucho las empanadas para picar, estaban muy ricas. La dueña fue muy amable y nos sentimos muy bien recibidos.

This is listed as a shop and delivery place, but they also have a dine-in option with a limited menu since this is a very small business. Even on the limited menu they had run out of some of the dishes but we still ate the tamal and the lechonga, which were both super good. Portions are of a good size.
