Delicious and generous! - Edit
I had the pleasure of visiting a charming cafe today, nestled within the tranquil Waterford Wellness Hub. The experience was nothing short of delightful, and I'm eager to share my positive encounter.
Read moreOne of the standout features of this cafe is its diverse and extensive menu. It caters to a wide range of dietary preferences, including vegetarian, vegan, and omnivorous diets. As a vegan myself, I greatly appreciated the inclusivity of their offerings.
For my breakfast, I opted for the hummus and avocado on toast, which came accompanied by a generous and delicious side salad. The portion was so substantial that it kept me satisfied for most of the day. What truly impressed me was the cafe's flexibility in accommodating my vegan preferences. While the menu originally included an egg, the staff graciously replaced it with options like vegan feta or tofu. Though I declined these alternatives, their willingness to adapt to my needs was highly commendable.
However, the highlight of my visit was the exceptional service provided by a lady whose name,, unfortunately, I didn't catch. When settling my bill, she surprised me with a warm slice of freshly baked vegan banana bread as a gift. The taste was nothing short of heavenly, and her thoughtful gesture added a touch of warmth to an already wonderful experience.
I must award a resounding 10/10 for the food itself; it was truly outstanding. But the service I received deserves an even higher rating - an 11/10, if you will. I'm genuinely grateful for the kind and accommodating staff who went above and beyond to ensure my visit was memorable.
Rest assured, I will be singing the praises of this cafe to all my friends, and I'm eagerly looking forward to my next visit. ver, the highlight of my visit was the exceptional service provided by a lady whose name

Hidden Gem!!! - Edit
The locals definitely know about Avo Cafe because it was quite busy with both seating and takeaway. However, as a visitor, without Happy Cow I never would have known about it. It is tucked into a healthcare center and doesn’t have a lot of signage to advertise it’s there. But, wow, I’m so happy we went!
Read moreI had the Garden Gate chickpea omelet and I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed it! I have never had anything like it! First, it was absolutely beautiful when it came out on the plate, so bright and fresh. The portion was HUGE, too. I couldn’t eat all of it, and let me tell you, this girl can eat. I sacrificed the side salad in favor of eating all of the omelet because it was just that good!
My husband had the Chunky Monkey smoothie bowl. It also was beautifully plated with so much fresh fruit on top. It was another large portion and very filling.
My son had the Banana Nana pancakes. He wanted to confirm with the ladies working that they were vegan because he wanted to review them here. He says, “It was really good. It felt like happiness on a plate! I definitely recommend this meal and I wish we could go back!”
The staff at the cafe were so nice and told us a little about the building and how it was converted from an old church. I had so many windows throughout the side and ceiling that I wish we were there on a warm sunny day to sit and enjoy some coffee or tea and read. Don’t miss this spot!
Pros: Fresh, healthy, beautiful food, Lovely building and seating area, Kind staff

Amazing vegan food 🥑❤️ - Edit
My family threw me a surprise birthday lunch at Avo Cafe recently and I'm still absolutely astounded at how amazing the service was!
Read moreAll the staff made us feel at home the second we arrived in the most relaxing atmosphere, we really felt as though we had walked into a friend's kitchen.
The array of food Avo Cafe prepared was nothing short of exceptional, we had little bites of everything from the spectacular platters of delicious dairy & sugar free vegan desserts as well as my ultimate favourite - the chickpea and pesto wrap 🤤😍
Donia even created a phenomenal banana bread birthday cake for me, which was devoured much faster than I'll ever care to admit!
Not only did they help to create an incredibly special day for the party but every time I'm in there, which is on a weekly basis now, is a fantastic experience. The staff are always friendly, helpful and the food is absolutely phenomenal!
A huge thanks to the team and well done for providing such a fantastic service to cater for vegans and people with dietary restrictions ❤️
Pros: Exceptionally tasty vegan food, Caters for a lot of dietary restrictions, Friendly and cosy environment

We had a coffee (they have all kinds of dairy free milks available), their own kombucha and the chickpea omelette. It all tasted absolutely amazing!

Hard to say - Edit
I arrived 40 minutes before their closing time and coffee was the only thing available. So I had coffee...watery, tasteless. They also need to learn that it's pretty rude for a supposedly vegan-friendly cafe to serve milk with a black coffee when the customer doesn't ask for it. Not good enough. Was hard to find too as the address shows up as 100m away on other side of the road.

As far as I know, everything on the menu is dairy-free and gluten-free (although that's worth checking). Everything I've tried here has been delicious too.
