A great meal and great service - Edit
We were impressed by the large vegan menu. We both enjoyed our meals and thought that they had both been perfectly prepared with a lot of thought given to the perfect mix of flavours.

We were there on 20th May 2019 and were told that ii is closing today.

Cannot fault this place - Edit
We booked in for dinner this time after visiting for lunch visit a few weeks ago. We were a party of 5 with 2 meat eaters. Staff went out of their way to accommodate the meat eaters as they had loved the Caribbean chicken on the lunch menu so made it especially for them. Amazing vegan options, we had the chickpea burger and all the trimmings, excellent choice of vegan desserts too which is hard to find anywhere. A little on the pricey side for 5 but will defo return. 👍😁

Nice place, good food - Edit
Separate vegan menu, and even several desserts. All tasty. Portions a little small for me, but I have a big appetite. But everything went down well with the whole family.

What a menu - Edit
I wish I could give this places a 5 star review because honestly their vegan menu was better than a lot of fully vegan menu, some really different options from your usual salad or soup on a lot of vegan options! The to’fish and chips was such a winner and I would go back solely for the polenta chips. Always has vegan baked good aswell, can’t wait to go back and try more of this menu.

Vegan mac and cheese is to die for! - Edit
Ordered the vegan mac and cheese and it was delicious. Been thinking about it non-stop ever since I had it and also keen on trying their other vegan options. Only loses a star because it is kinds pricey.

good vegan choice - Edit
Nice place, Vegan menu list with many available options : starters, bigger dishes, salads and desserts. I found here more than I could expect from a non vegan restaurant. If you need to have dinner in Dundee, this is the place. I recommend the vegan Huggies

Expensive and under seasoned - Edit
I am aware that I am going to contradict other reviews here but I have been going to Avery for years and am not impressed with how they have let the quality of their food slide.
Read moreThe 'Not-Dog' consists of Linda McCartney sausages on a roll with sauce and a side of OVEN chips, and it's too expensive considering.
I stopped going after I ordered the mushroom burger and was served lukewarm greasy button mushrooms on a roll with a side of those dreaded oven chips. And I paid almost a tenner... nope. (It's not even like you get big portions, they are small!)
The mac and 'cheese' is nice but very underseasoned and again, quite pricey.
I've not heard good things coming from the 'inside' either so I don't jump at the chance to attend Avery anymore.
**edit: the dessert is often good, which is always a bonus when you're vegan going into an omni restaurant

Decent food and great variety - Edit
This is probably the best vegan menu in Dundee that is good quality. The menu is extensive and creative. Love that they also have vegan desserts as well.

vegan food - Edit
Went today and would have to say disappointingly food and service wasn't as good as 2 weeks ago and I had the same things. Vegan not dog and almond decaff cappacunio. Had to ask where our coffees were once our meal had arrived

Really good! - Edit
A bit pricey but everything is yummy. A whole vegan menu including dessert, went with my family and everyone has something to suit their tastes. A little far away from the centre but you can walk about 10 minutes. It's in a quiet area but the place is quite big.

Excellent vegan menu and vegan friendly in general - Edit
Avery & Co. has become one of my go to places for lunch and dinner. Food is always excellent and coffees and smoothies are really yummy. They offer soy milk for coffee and vegan options for things like mayo.
