Coffee shop with some items that can be made vegan, including salads, avocado toast, tofu bagel, soba noodles, and poke bowl with tofu. Specify vegan when ordering. Open Mon-Sun 8:00am-12:00am.
This is one of many, many coffee shops in Bishkek. Serves food, pastries, coffee and a variety of interesting teas including sea buckthorn. Several things on the menu are vegan or can be made vegan including salads, avocado toast, tofu on bagel, soba noodles, poke with tofu, etc. No vegan pastries sadly. “vegetarian” items are marked on the menu but eggs and cheese are included in this designation so be sure to confirm before ordering. Salad has cheese but can be ordered without. English version of the menu.
Pleasant atmosphere with outdoor seating in the downtown area. Near a lovely park.
I had the soba noodles with green beans and tofu. Decent, maybe not amazing, but when you’re hungry in Bishkek and traveling with carnivores it can be challenging to find anything vegan and any tofu at all is a miracle! My companion had a salad which was fresh and tasty and decently portioned though came with a hunk of cheese on the top.
would definitely go back and try one of the other options. Lovely atmosphere, clean bathroom, in nice area of town, good place to just take in the sights of the city and chill out for a meal. The tagline for this cafe is “your happy place” and i think I agree.
