Vegan philly cheesesteak takeaway opened here Feb 2021. Chef Patton, aka "The Sexy Vegan," makes the vegan steak and cheez whiz in-house, and serves them on soft and chewy fresh rolls. Offers also sides like fries and deep-fried bread shrooms. Pick up on Ave 25 by the small loading dock. Call or text when you arrive. Street parking or park in the parking lot. Curbside pick up, and delivery available. Open Fri 4:00pm-9:00pm, Sat 3:00pm-8:00pm.

Poor Quality - Edit
I’m not sure why the other reviews are so glowingly positive.
Read moreI found the bread to have a strange texture as if it had been wet then microwaved. I very much liked the seasoning and the flavors overall but the “steak” itself also had a strange, creepy quality to it.
I ordered a brownie because “why not,” but it couldn’t hold its own shape and fell apart. The pretzels on top were even soft, I’m not sure what happened there.
The fries were excellent, but unfortunately that’s all I enjoyed.
I really wanted to love this place, but if I can make the same thing at home a million times better in just a few minutes I don’t see a reason to give it another chance.
Pros: Excellent fries
Cons: Low quality

Amazing vegan cheesesteaks. There are a lot of places you could get a vegan cheesesteak from, but these guys are the real deal.

Salty and Heavy - Edit
This place is in a building run by Door Dash or something. There are a bunch of kitchens w take out and a centralized location for pickup, no indoor dining. So don't expect any ambiance. The food is ok. I realize that there is nothing about Philly cheesesteak sandwiches that are vegan so I was prepared for some processed food. I think they use the same fake meat that you get in vegan carnitas street tacos but like 10x as much. Which brings me to the portions, they're huge. I was starving when I got this and could barely finish the sandwich. I would split a sandwich and an order of fries w someone next time. That would probably be a reasonable portion.

Hit the Spot! - Edit
I was skeptical having this delivered, but it arrived hot & the bread wasn't soggy at all. My sandwich really hit the spot, I would definitely order from here again.

Soggy buns - Edit
Not sure what’s up with this place but tried it anyhow. Ordered online and picked up from a building that seems to rent kitchens? The door was staffed by a woman working for door dash and many of the people picking up worked for delivery companies. The portions were HUGE! Unclear what kind of fake meat is used. Buns too soggy. Food was very salty. Fries wow so so salty. Meat flavor was ok but the overall mushy texture of everything not so appealing. I think am sure some people will love this place, it just wasn’t for me. I think there is room for all kinds of vegan places and I want to support them alL. But I couldn’t eat more than a quarter of the sandwich. I’m just not used to eating processed foods I guess cause it just didn’t feel great to eat. This place is newish so maybe they can change bun vendors and tweak the recipe to be more delicious. They have a robust Instagram presence but the food was not super amazing.

Thanks for the feedback. We will be looking into the salt portion for the food. The meat actually are not processed. All the ingredients were made fresh. The meat is made with yuba, mushrooms and a little impossible burger bits. The cheese sauce is made with blended cashews, chickpeas, nutritional yeasts, salt, sugar. We are what you call a ghost kitchen. This is a new restaurant concept where food businesses operate out of a shared kitchen facility but have their own rooms. It's a like a condo building for food businesses.
