Delicious, but beware of mislabeling - Edit
This was my first time to Ava's despite living in the area. I would like to warn you that Ava's "vegan pizza" is NOT vegan. Ava's must have changed their menu/management since other members have visited as their vegan pizza is now offered with a cheese pesto and mozzarella and is STILL labeled as vegan.
That being said, be sure to ask for the pizza without the pesto or mozzarella. I did and it was quite delicious! The pizza wasn't at all oily, which is especially fantastic for HCLF vegans like myself, and it had a wonderful smoky flavor. A little pricey, but not unreasonable. I would definitely go again for special occasions. :)
Also, if you are in the area and in need of a bite to eat, consider taking the trip to Easton for veggie sushi at U-sushi, Chipotle for veg-friendly burrito bowls or Earth Origins for a veggie sandwich and a barrage of other vegan options.

I'm a fan of Ava's Pizzeria - Edit
St. Michaels, MD has been my second home for over 30 years, and I was thrilled when Ava's opened a few years ago. I have eaten there numerous times and the food is always excellent. Although I am not a Vegan, their Vegan Pizza is my go-to order. I love it. They have other great vegetarian pizzas, including the Onion Tart, and also soups and pastas. Fantastic beer and wine selection. The interior is very casual, nothing super-special, but cozy. ALWAYS busy -- even during the week, which shows you how popular Ava's is, given that St Michaels is a small town when the tourists clear out on Sunday night!
Pros: excellent food, fantastic beers, great wines
Cons: somewhat sterile interior, hard to get a table
