I did a four course solo dining experience and had the best night. Beautiful setting, friendly and kind wait staff, and fabulous food. The mushroom bruschetta was incredible and chocolate lava cake dessert was ridiculously good. One of my favorite meals I’ve ever had.

This was my second time here and I came back for the baby gem salad! It’s so nice to get a classic Cesar salad as a vegan. The spaghetti/carbonara dish is also another thing that is hard to veganize and they did it so well. It is upscale, hidden away, and atmospheric. Definitely recommend for an intimate date night or a birthday dinner.

The best natural vegan food I’ve ever tried - Edit
Absolutely amazing and delicious food. What distinguishes this restaurant from others, aside from the cozy and dim atmosphere, is the fact that all the dishes are made from rather “simple” ingredients. There were no faux meats used, but rather very intriguing takes on naturally vegan foods. The roasted cauliflower was so buttery, my taste buds were in heaven. The waitress was very kind and explained everything from the menu in detail.

The ambience and vibe of the place is very cool and the staff are friendly and attentive. We were advised to pick a few dishes each in our group of three and share, which I highly recommend as everything was completely delicious and wonderful! Particularly recommend the desserts, which are spectacular. Definitely had a unique and top-tier dining experience, which I won't forget any time soon.

The decor is great! The staff are super friendly and helpful! They are mindful of allergies and are willing to make adjustments for those that have allergies. There were a couple of dishes that weren’t able to be adjusted, but out of like 15 or so dishes only two weren’t able to be adjusted.

Maybe the best vegan in New York - Edit
First, the new space is spectacular and was great for my parents and I (not too loud but had a cool feel). All the dishes were great, but the Hen in the Woods and cauliflower were standouts. Save room for the lava cake. Also, I’ve noticed usually go with one less dish than what they recommend.

Went here for the first time recently and loved the food. There’s mushrooms in many of the dishes (which I enjoyed). The most delicious ones I tried were the hen of the woods and the risotto. Portioned are small so order a few! Skip the mushroom ice cream (I just did not enjoy it). Service was very friendly and helpful.

Read moreA beautiful location with nice decor. Clean and upscale. Staff were all very on point and professional. They even had a sign on our table wishing us a happy anniversary.
We were gifted a complimentary glass of sparkling wine which was quite nice.
We tried the cremini toast which I really enjoyed. Many layers to tantalize your tongue!
The artichoke toast was also nice, it had this fresh burst of summer but I didn't feel it had many layers of flavour.
The hen of the woods was by far the best dish we had. It was out of this world delicious.
The celery root was well done and tasty but wasn't a show stopper imo.
Paella was superb. Really enjoyed it. The red pepper sauce was delish.
Lava cake for dessert was decadent and blew my socks right off. Probably one of the best desserts I've ever had.

This was my first dining stop on this short trip to NYC and it was a good one. I was lucky to experience their new location. Not only was the food excellent, but the restaurant decor and ambience were impressive. If I had to choose favorites, I would come back for the Home Made Spaghetti, the Scorched Cauliflower and their vegan chocolate soufflé with ice cream. Highly, highly recommend.

We came here for an elevated and intimate dinner. The ambiance is dark and romantic. We were guided through the menu by our incredibly kind server to help us achieve the best experience. It was delicious start to finish. All dishes are designed for sharing, and coursed out. We ordered 4 dishes 1 dessert for 2 people - it was just the right amount of food. We ordered the sunchoke toast, roasted carrots, hen of the woods mushroom, paella, and the chocolate lava cake. The sunchoke toast and the chocolate lava cake were the stars.
