True to culture - Edit
I know and like the owner but I can't eat with her. First thing there was strong smell of fish which turned me off.

Vegan options! - Edit
This place had good food, a few decent vegan options, and it was well priced for what it was! We had their veggie Creole plate and veggie tacos and both were delicious. Service was a little funky but it just seems incredibly laid back. I’d go back here! I will say, they seem to have somewhat weird hours. We walked by two or three days in a row during normal business hours and the fourth day we did, they were finally open and we went back for dinner

5 star not 4 - Edit
For some reason it is not letting me give this place a 5 star. I loved it. Truely lives up to its name. Not a very crowded and gives a very homie, family vibe. The veggie tacos were really good! Vegan tacos as well! Not very expensive too!

I had the veggie tacos - Edit
They were amazing. In addition you can choose from a variety of fresh juices and lemonades.

Great vegan options - Edit
This is the best Vegan optioned dinner spot in town with very reasonable prices and freshly made local fare. We got bowls of Coconut soup that had corn, green banana dumplings, okra, and plaintains. The veggie tacos, veggie creole curry, and coconut eggplant dish were the choices.

“No vegan options today” - Edit
I have spoken with the husband (wife works in the kitchen) who didn’t know what vegan means and don’t think “she had made vegan food today”.

Cannot judge the food: I haven’t eaten there.

A must try! - Edit
Walking around San Ignacio we didn't think we would find much in the way of vegan food. Then we noticed an upstairs cafe with a sign that read "vegan specials". I'm so glad we tried it. There were at least 3 items that were vegan and a few others that could be made vegan. Tons of fresh juices, smoothies and run drinks. I had a chocolate nib & cinnamon rum drink, coconut curry with rice and my partner had some sort of plantain dish. Everything was so flavorful! Good prices and great service in a laid back but stylish setting. Highly recommend!
