Bakery cafe opened here Apr 2018. Everything is vegan except for cow's milk offered for drinks. Makes gluten-free treats, including vegan cakes, muffins, cookies, granola bars. Offers weekly changing lunch menu, and drinks selection of smoothies, juices, lemonade, beer and wine. Garden seating in summer months. Open Tue-Thu 12:00-18:30, Fri-Sat 12:00-19:00.

Best vegan cakes in Vienna - Edit
I was so happy to discover this place. I’m a cake lover and Vienna is really lacking in cute coffee shops that offer vegan cakes. I’ve stopped by several times and it’s always been great. The brownie is one of my favourites. Would be great if they had some more seating but I understand they don’t have a lot of space to work with. If you’re in Vienna then please come and support them because I worry that they may miss out on more business due to their location. Would hate to see them close!

Vegan *and* gluten-free *and* delicious! - Edit
While I’m vegan, my husband is both vegan *and* gluten free, which can be challenging during international travel. Luckily you have restaurant like this which are all vegan and gluten free, and offer terrific dishes. The approach for their cooking is super healthy, and their smoothies are beyond perfection. Highly recommended. Plus, it’s in a great neighborhood and easily accessible via public transportation.

This place was soooo good. I had the red lentil curry off the weekly menu and it was delicious, and I also has the Berry Smoothie which was amazing! Only problem was it came with a plastic straw😒 I then had a chocolate nut muffin which was so tasty, a cookie to take home with me which ended up being one of the best cookies ever! So would thoroughly recommend that you go to this place, everything it makes it brilliant.

Amazing cakes and coffee - Edit
We had a chestnut/chocolate cake and a cherry/ chocolate muffin, together with an almond cappuccino and an espresso and we forgot how cold and miserable the weather outside was! I would have happily eaten my way through a couple of more cakes, that means that we'll have to get back soon ...

Amazing place, we worked our way through a variety of cakes, smoothies and coffees and it was all super yummy. You can taste the thoughtfulness and excellent ingredients in each of the pieces. Will definitely come again!

I stopped by at this calm and cozy place to have a cup of tea and to read in a book in the afternoon. At the end of my stay, I really enjoyed a piece of poppy blueberry cake, and I did not miss gluten at all.

Ausnahmsweise is a small but super cosy place which offers all vegan and gluten free treats. Among their offer you can find muffins, cakes, creams - of course you can also chose from several different kinds of plant based milk for your coffee. They also offer super tasty lunch options!

Beautiful café with delicious cakes & coffee - Edit
I have stopped at Ausnahmsweise a few times already and always found something I liked. All their food is vegan and glutenfree and they use different kinds of sugars (from raw sugar to dates to xylitol and agave syrup) to cater to all different kinds of preferences and intolerances.
