We had 4 mains, dumplings, and the drumsticks. The drumsticks were amazing highly recommend. Also the curry and chao mee noodles with mock chicken fantastic.

The menu is so big! Our food was good but way spicy (for us) so verify spice level if it is a problem for you. Food was cooked deliciously at the front of the restaurant so points for ambience!

Some of the best vegan Asian food I’ve had. Everything on the menu is delicious, fresh and cheap. Service is super friendly and quick. Very highly recommend for a delicious affordable meal in welly.

We had the Laksa and tom yum (super spicy!) which were solid. The fried rice noodles tasted totally bland and I had to put a lot of soy sauce on top. The fried drum sticks were fun but lacked flavour.

Tasty dish that was very quickly served. I was early which turned out good, because it became quickly busy around dinner time. Had a lovely apple tea, and Nasi Lemak. Service was friendly and quick. Recommend.

On the amazing Cuba Street is this homely vegan restaurant serving home cooked food in homely surroundings. As it was coming up to closing time we went for a take away of fish curry and tom yum tofu both of which came with rice. Large portion sizes meant there was ample for an evening meal and a dirty microwave breakfast the next day. The mock fiish and tofu both had a succulently chewy consistency full of absorbed flavour. The food was ultra fresh and came to a more than acceptable 41 NZD. We could have got so much more and kind of regret not visiting earlier during the stay.

Had a very nice noodle curry dish, filling and tasty. The only problem was when I went to pay they don't accept foreign payment cards or credit cards, so I had to go across the road to the cash machine, which charged me 5 dollars for the withdrawal.

Finally went to Aunty Menas the other night and it was delicious. Spoilt for choice and the food was delicious. Huge portions (lots of vegan meats too!) and they were all super reasonably priced. They are popular for a reason! Went with a group of non-vegans and they all loved it. Something for everyone and the staff are so sweet! Will definitely be back

Great Vegetarian Malaysian food - Edit
It's great to see a pure vegetarian Malaysian restaurant doing so well but in all honesty it didn't really live up to the hype for me. Most Malaysian places can do most of their menu vegetarian and I've had plenty of Malaysian places performing at a similar level or better than this one.
