Nom nom!

Augusta Jansson’s vegan soft serve hit the spot. It’s rare to come across I find. While the shop is not vegan, everything was labelled and the member of staff knew the ingredients list well. I will definitely be back for more next time I’m in Uppsala.

Pros: Lots of vegan ice cream toppings , Good labelling

Cons: Few vegan options other than ice cream

Pretty good vegan soft-serve!

The only option in Uppsala for vegan soft-serve (besides IKEA) at the point of writing this review. I'm a big soft-serve enthusiast, so I was very happy seeing that they offered it. The taste was very decent, but I had no topping. I think with a topping it would have had a bit more flavor, but I can't complain. They had some vegan chocolates also, and their "snickers" is very tasty.

Not many vegan options

I think this sweets shop must have had more vegan options previously. The only ice-cream I saw, was the vegan soft-serve ice-cream. I had it with salty liquorice topping, which was really yummy.

Surprise treat in Uppsala

We weren't expecting to find many vegan options to eat in Uppsala but were delighted to find our first vegan soft serve of our vacation in Sweden! It was yummy and hit that spot in my stomach that's always craving soft serve ice cream. The lady working was very nice and helpful when asked if the shop had any other vegan options. Don't be fooled like we almost were - not everything is clearly marked "vegan/vegansk" but instead have green-colored labels to indicate they are vegan.

Pros: Delightful staff, Lots of choices

Cons: Vegan options not obvious at first (green labels)

Great ice-cream!

I had the "soft" ice-cream (mjukglass) and my friend tried the vegan scope ice-cream. Really good!!
They also have "Tutti Frutti" sprinkles that are vegan!

Best icecream/ sweets shop

Soft icecream, a few vegan icecream options in the freezer and a small section of vegan sweets and chocolates.

Good spot for ice-cream

Serves soft ice-cream (only vegan) and the with a few toppings and sauces that are vegan. Clearly marked in Swedish but with colour. Cones are vegan too. One flavour of scoop ice-cream is also vegan.

The store also have treats that are vegan, again, clearly marked.

Pros: Right in city centre, Can pay by both cash and card, Outdoors seating
