Decent food for price - Edit
I got given the menu as soon as I sat down, and the woman just stares and expects me to order there and then, so I ask if I can have a minute to look at the menu but she doesn’t know English. I noticed locals get their food very fast but I think that’s cause they know their order already. Buffet option too but I tend to stay away as they’re usually cold.
Read moreOrdered 1 fresh spring roll which was good and considerably bigger than the fried spring roll that I didn’t like, it’s like it deep fried so much you can’t taste anything inside. Ordered the rice noodles with veg (35k) for a main, it was very nice but I don’t think they were rice noodles. Good mock meat with it too. Great price, cost me 48k. I’d go back.
Pros: All vegan
Cons: Locals get their food first

A great vegan restaurant in Da Lat - Edit
The food was both really good and cheap, the people very welcoming and nice. We can highly recommend it to you ! They serve both the traditional "mixed rice" you can find in bouddhist restaurant which is steam rice and a lot veggies and mock meats from a buffet bit also a lot of different plates like vegan fried ric or soupe, etc..
Read morePros: A lot of vegan options

Recommend the soup dishes - Edit
I really enjoyed their big bowls of noodle soup for 25k - veggie pho or bun bo hue (spicy “beef” noodle soup). As well as a regular menu they also have the buffet thing where they dish you up a plate of mixed dishes with rice, also 25k. My boyfriend had this first time round and said it was pretty good, but food was mostly cold as usual.
Read moreOn our second visit here I ordered pho and spring rolls, but before my boyfriend could order his meal the lady walked off and started dishing him up a buffet plate even though that’s not what he was after, which was a bit weird haha. And then we didn’t receive the spring rolls either? By this point we were pretty full so didn’t bother asking, but my boyfriend was a little annoyed as he was sick of cold food and had wanted to order a fresh meal from the menu.
Ps. On Google Maps the full name is “Quan Com Chay Au Lac 2”.
Pros: cheap & tasty bowls of soup, quick service
Cons: some miscommunications w order

Texture, goûts et cuisson exceptionnels ! - Edit

Cheap, small portions - Edit
Basic veggie (vegan?) restaurant with a lot of mock meat dishes on the menu. Cheap prices and food tastes nice, but portions are quite small though. Bonus: you can also buy instant noodles at this place.

Tasty and efficient - Edit
Well priced menu ... I've only eaten the pho there a couple of times ... But quite good without being mind blowing ... Well priced @ 25,000 d . Staff are OK, without being overly welcoming ... They get the job done😄

Mostly mock meat - Edit
Tastes very good, they offer many or mostly mock meat dishes. I think, they - and many of those 'com chay kitchens' - work with glutamate... Also very cheap.

Okay food, meh service - Edit
Ate there twice, even though it very subpar the first time. The food is okay at best (had way better at other "chays"). The service was terrible. They were not welcoming, the buffet is off limits for non-locals and it feels like you're getting milked (always pushing the menu on you, they've increased the prices as well)

Food here was very good and great value for money - plus the mock meat was very convincing! However slightly less than friendly staff and a few things on the menu were unavailable.

Mixed Experiences - Edit
After reading the reviews my partner and I visited here to try the buffet dish. The staff were welcoming and rice plus 4 items was only 25k and very filling. The a la carte menu had many items on that sounded delicious so we returned the next day to try a couple of dishes out. Unfortunately on this occasion, the staff were unwelcoming, the portion sizes were small and overpriced, and food was lacking in flavour. We tried multiple times to order a portion of rice to pad out the meal but all our requests were ignored. Hopefully this experience was a one off, as our first time eating here was great.
