Serves meat, vegan options available. Restaurant offering a few vegan items including burger, salad and baguette. Open Mon 09:00-15:00, Fri 09:00-15:00, Sat-Sun 09:00-18:00.
First, it’s the only restaurant we found there that has something vegan on the menu so that’s a good point for them
The homemade fries are amazing and In good quantity, that saved the meal honestly.
But the burger…
they’re trying to make a vegan patty themselves, which, ok why not, another good point, we love homemade.
But it’s really not well achieved. It’s a kind of mushy purée of lentils and quinoa, no structure at all, shaped as a steak until you cut into it and everything collapses because it’s literally purée.
And on top of that, there is no faux cheese, no interesting sauce, no spices, no nothing, it’s very bland
And for 18€ that is kind of steep and quite frankly disappointing.
My advice to the owners would be please love the food you make ❤️
There are amazing vegan burgers out there that you could get inspired by, and actually serve something that you can be proud of, and not just see the vegan option, as many restaurant do, as free money because people don’t have a choice anyways.
