The menu is a mix between local dishes and some international cuisine.
Read moreI had the gyros and my bf had the microbiotic burger. Both dishes were not the best, I definitely had better vegan gyros and the microbiotic burger was tasting weird. The staff is friendly though.

Comfort food in central Athens - Edit
Located in the busy Monastraki section of town, this place offers an all-vegan menu of comfort food--burgers, fries, and the like, along with some salad choices. The portions are huge. I had a mac-and-cheese burger. To be sure, what I had was not necessarily gourmet or super-healthy, but it was tasty and filling. For the food alone, I might have rated this 3 stars, but I give it an extra star for waving the vegan banner in what might seem like an unexpected place in the city.

Read moreI had the Mac & Cheese burger and my partner had the Wellington burger, we both loved them. If I had more time in Athens I'd have tried to work my way through as much of the menu as I could.
Service was attentive, but not intrusive.

We liked the burgers a lot but we didn't enjoy the Ceasars salad that much.

However, 34,5 euros for 2 burgers with fries and a salad...is a bit expensive.

If you're in Athens, you have to try Athens Vegan Burgers! The menu is so varied and there's something for everyone. The staff was so kind and were happy to talk with us about Veganism and why they wanted to open a vegan restaurant in Athens. They went above and beyond with service and the food was top tier and so affordable.

Best burgers in Athens! - Edit
We stumbled into this place as we were wondering around looking for souvenirs and it did not disappoint! The burgers were juicy, made of fresh ingredients, and so filling. We ordered the Cretan burger and the Santorini and were both excellent. They came with baked chips and/or salad which were also delicious. The people next to us also agreed that this burger place was just unreal (one of them was not even vegan!) Big congrats to the chef who created the menu and the friendly staff that took our order.

Wanted to give them 5 stars - Edit
I really want to give them five stars. A few things held me back. I ordered the Cretes burger and in the description it says comes with a traditional Greek bun. Between reading the reviews and reading their menu I was so craving the unctuous experience of biting into a big greasy burger. When I got it, there was no bun on top. I had to eat it with a fork and knife, which totally took away from the experience of enjoying it. Don’t get me wrong, the flavors were on point and I enjoyed it, but it wasn’t the experience I was hoping for. The second reason that I couldn’t give them five stars is because, the employees kept taking breaks and smoking their cigarettes right next to where we were eating. Again, don’t get me wrong I understand we’re in an open air market and people can smoke, but in general vegans don’t and none of the other patrons were smoking, just the employees who were taking their breaks. Final reason for not getting the final star, is because this was the one place in Athens so far that I’ve seen kombucha on the menu. Out of the four listed, they only had one flavor available and that was not the one I wanted.

The host and waiter was extremely friendly and welcoming and answered questions. The outdoor patio is a wonderful place to sit down and relax and people watch while you’re enjoying a fantastic vegan meal.

If you’re looking for freshly prepared food, don’t go here. Most of the dishes are made from frozen foods. Every burger is fussy, too: overly complicated with combinations of ingredients that sound absolutely unappetizing. I ordered the protein salad because it seemed to be one of the more freshly prepared dishes on the menu. It was flavorless—the promised herbs were minimal in quantity—and the dressing tasted like it came from a ready-made mix. I barely touched it. Wouldn’t come back ever again and definitely do not recommend.

Huge portions, American style - Edit
If you’re looking for a tasty, greasy, unbelievably filling, American style burger place with creative flavours in a central tourist location, this is it. Good place to hit after walking through the ruins all day. I say greasy in a good way; it was actually not super greasy just that style of food.

Vegan Burgers has a great choice of snacks, mains and sides. Prices are reasonable, the food was very nice and the location was great - sitting outside with the breeze and the buzz of the area was great. Definitely recommend.

Absolute FILTH! Tastes amazing! - Edit
After battling the crowds & hiking to the Acropolis in the morning, I wanted something substantial. OH BOY did this satisfy. When it came out I thought my eyes had been too big for my stomach but no, I managed! The burgers are very “meaty” and while undoubtedly greasy, it wasn’t *too* greasy - just the right amount. The fried potatoes were also excellent & the salad had a nice, tangy dressing to cut through. Not crazy expensive & exceeded expectations!

Really enjoyed the food at this place. It's all greasy and huge, but that's what we were looking for. Their patio outside is fantastic for people-watching, though since it's in the centre of a tourist hotspot, you will get a number of folks coming up to your table asking for money.

After having lots of traditional Greek food I was craving a burger! And they did not disappoint! I had the porcini and it was unreal! You can tell that every element of these burgers are of the best quality! Hopefully get the chance to go back for the surf and turf!

This is a vegan burger place in the middle of a bustling little square with outdoor seating for a few restaurants. The different vegan burger options are very creative. My wife, two teenagers and I each got different burgers (Mac & Cheese, Texas, Ramen noodle, and Porcini) and all of them were delicious! We each love our own burger. Just beware though, they are each super filling! We kept eating because it was yummy, but all felt like we needed a nap by the time we were done!
