Nice Lunch Option in Bruton - Edit
We had a good experience here. We ate in the restaurant which has a great atmosphere and friendly staff. We went on a Wednesday right about noon and were seated right away. We shared a pizza and two sides, the pizza was good but the broccoli was excellent. There were not a lot of vegan options on the menu: a large plate, small plate, two side dishes, and two pizza options. We stopped in the bakery on our way out and they had a few vegan baked goods, we got the granola bar for take away and it was excellent. We saw they had plant milks on the menu and a vegan muffin that looked good.

Mixed feelings; really a 3.5 star experience - Edit
Mixed feelings about this dining experience. Convenient location right on the high street and it was the only place that was open and serving during our town stroll. Interesting building/venue and really good service but a bit confusing to order food due to different menu options at different times of the day (we were told to come back in 15 minutes 3 different times within the same hour in order to get a wider choice). The bakery side had a couple nice baked goods, particularly the vegan chocolate fudge cake with its perfect frosting. On the restaurant side, our butternut squash soup was too spicy, had too much olive oil drizzled in and the texture was too thin however the oil drizzled on the sourdough was a nice touch. Apparently the pizza tasted more bland than it looked, again due to a thin texture issue; the thin tomato sauce caused the middle to be soggy. On the other hand, my crispy mushrooms tasted as amazing as the gastro presentation. Whilst more creative dishes were on offer, there weren't many vegan choices in the restaurant overall (1 starter, 1 main, 1 pizza, 1 dessert not counting the fudge cake available in the bakery) so unfortunately there's nothing enticing us to go back.
