Our waiter was vegan, so he steered us in the right direction! Got a veggie burger, peasant bowl, and some yummy drinks. Didn’t have room for any of the 30ish vegan dessert options that they had

Excellent - Edit
I visited here for dinner with a group of people- many of whom I had just met and I didn’t want to draw attention to/make an issue of my vegan diet. It was nice to have a clearly labeled menu with many delicious looking vegan options. The food was delicious. I got the Buddha bowl.

Good food, decent prices, unavailable desserts - Edit
Had the tofu curry, it was absolutely delicious. Non veg friend had the Buddha bowl with chicken, she said it tasted good but could have used a little more seasoning. A little pricey but not too bad. The dessert menu was very confusing to decipher, but the staff was helpful and friendly. had the vegan request pie which was very good if you like coconut crust. Would have gotten the vegan soft serve but they were out of a lot of dessert items. They used food from their garden outside, would come again!

Great Duluth Stopping Point - Edit
I ordered salmon spinach omelette with pesto and it was absolutely perfect. Coffee great. My husband ordered the most delicious morning Glory muffin. Our server was nice and efficient. Definitely suited our tastes and desires for a yummy healthy breakfast.

Best vegan option in Duluth - Edit
My wife and I have dined here several times. The okinomiyaki (japanese pancake) is awesome. Also the curry dish is nice. I had the buddha bowl, which had a tempeh or tofu option; it was a little bland. It is nice to go to a restaurant with more than the token veggie burger and a salad. The food is good, but a little pricey and the portions are on the smaller size, so you may have room for dessert. They have vegan brownies and vegan soy-based soft-serve ice cream. We tried the vegan (I think also gluten free) blueberry muffins, and they were kind of awful, but we didn’t eat them the first day. While I appreciate vegan desserts, they kind of lump those weird gluten free and vegan people together and come up with less-than-optimal choices.

So easy - Edit
Small and cozy, very friendly. The menu has plenty of vegan options that are more than just salads and fries. Everything vegan is labeled and also labeled when something can be made vegan. I got a peasant bowl with rice, black beans, salsa, guac and chips for $8 and a vegan gluten free brownie for $4. The meal was delicious and the brownie good (considering it was also gluten free) and didn't bust the bank. Want to come back!

I’ve gotten the same dish twice from here because it is so good! I really appreciate that their vegan options are marked, and that they have dishes with a lot of veggies and are healthy.

vegan AND gluten free - Edit
Had the Buddha Bowl, Chai, and piece of Chocolate cake the size of my head. Epic. This place only has a few vegan options but the staff are very attuned to vegan options and everything is really really well done.

Good choice for vegans in Duluth - Edit
Traveling through Duluth, I stopped at Sara's Table for lunch. There are a number of vegan options + they are willing to make some of the non-vegan options vegan on request. Pleasant atmosphere, good service, and good food.

Bettter than average for Duluth - Edit
Others have already said it. If you are looking for wow, drive to the Twin Cities, but At Sara's Table has some decent vegan options. Plus, they treat their employees well, offering some benefits that most places don't.

Decent Restaurant for Vegans - Edit
I have eaten here a number of times as a vegan. The vegetarian and vegan selections are not huge, but there are enough to make it interesting. The quality of food is excellent, and the service is outstanding! I like that they serve almond milk as a beverage, and offer a vegan dessert (brownies) and a vegan smoothie option. I had the small peasant bowl (black beans, rice, tomato based sauce, tortilla chips) and almond milk last night and enjoyed it. Other options were thai coconut curry, tempeh based sandwich, quinoa burger, and some options for salads. A few of these options are also gluten free vegan.

Went on valentine's weekend. They had a special valentine's menu with a vegan pasta dish with white bean sauce and veggies. We lucked out with a vegan server and got the veggie burger vegan instead. vegan items are clearly labeled. reservations recommended for dinner. for dessert we had a great vegan brownie and raspberry cakepops. good selection of mn beers. I would definitely go back.

Good for those who want gluten free options - Edit
Tired of restaurants that serve the store bought gluten free breads and charge extra also? The cafe bakes it's GF bread on site along with other delicious baked goods. Love the Farmer's Breakfast. Several breakfasts are served all-day. My husband can have his favorites that have gluten, dairy, etc. while I can eat according to my diet. Nice atmosphere and abundant parking off-street.

This place is very Duluth. While the vegan options arn't overwhelming, they do have quite a few options to choose from and their food is locally sourced. They often have vegan and gluten free baked good as well.
