Small restaurant with great ocean view

They have remodeled- enclosed the formerly open terrace and slightly reduced the fair trade products available to have more seats. I think it might seat around 12 people or a bit more now. You can see the ocean from all the seats. It's a good place to watch the sunset.

They were only serving one plate when I visited but had a variety of drinks and desserts to choose from.

It was a plate with vegetable tempura, a mini carrot, potato salad, and blue butterfly pea flower coconut rice. I liked the mini carrot and potato salad a lot. The carrot top and large leaf that some of the food was resting on were also edible, so there was no food waste.

The iced and hot maya nut chais were great.

I was so pleasantly surprised by the "Hayama Ice" local ice cream brand. They have two flavors, Coconut Amazake (no alcohol) and Almond Milk Chai. I don't like amazake much but it was fantastic. The Almond Milk Chai was quite spicy. They were a little less creamy than regular ice cream but the taste of both was great- would 100% order again.

They sell vegetarian fair trade products containing beeswax and honey.

It's down by the beach so give yourself plenty of time to walk over there if coming by train.
