Disappointing - Edit
I really wanted to like this place. We got there about 9.05 and it was already nearly full, seemingly with locals/ regulars ( maybe they have an arrangement with a residence as they seemed to be ordering lunch with breakfast). Order didn't arrive until about 9:45. Underwhelming. 2x hash browns , 1 other patty I couldn't identify, mushrooms ( highlight) beans and the famous " coconut bacon" ( which is small crispy savoury bits that if you weren't told were replicating bacon you would never have guessed) Also 1 slice of bread toast, already marmaladed which was weird. Pretty mean portion of everything, I get about 1 full breakfast a year and want to be belly busted. Why no sausage? And given there was avacado on the menu why no avacado? And 1 slice of toast? Fellow diner had the carnivore full breakfast which I eyed jealously as it was about 2x the portion... Maybe a local? Coffee was pretty poor, tasted instant. All in all a huge disappointment.

Great vegan lunch and brekkie! - Edit
Popped in twice during my stay in Grange Over Sands! Had a tofish butty for lunch, delicious tofu, wonderfully cooked chips and some peas. The next day for breakfast I had their vegan breakfast which was delicious. Would highly recommend!
Read moreThey have a separate vegan menu available upon request, and oat milk for the coffee too.
There was a good selection of vegan options for both lunch and breakfast, and what I had was just genuinely delicious.
Would definitely come again.
Pros: Great food, Vegan menu available , Lovely atmosphere - welcoming
Cons: Not sure if cake options were vegan?

Excellent vegan breakfast in a cosy café - Edit
Vegan breakfast with coconut "bacon" is a real game changer. And to be able to have an oat milkshake on a hot summer's day is excellent

Separate vegan menu - Edit
Glad we knew about the vegan menu - there was plenty of choice. I had the tofish sandwich which was slightly disappointing. I am a big tofu fan but it was a bit lacking in flavour. Bread, chips and tartare sauce were excellent though and my husband was very happy with the aubergine toasty so still worth 4 stars. They have a few tables outside which was nice on a sunny day.

Tasty and freshly prepared food with great range of choices on vegan menu. - Edit
A lovely cafe with a range of vegan dishes. We had the vegan burger and roasted aubergine, butterbean puree and coleslaw toasties. All very tasty, freshly made and a bit different to the usual vegan fare offered in non vegan places. I always appreciate good bread and they source fresh bread from the local bakery. Super tasty Chips were a bonus!

Vegan friendly cafe - Edit
The vegan BLT on the daytime menu is excellent. The cafe also opens on some evenings, and the owners are very happy to accommodate vegan diners, especially when they have a little notice.

Excellent Vegan Breakfast - Edit
Visited At Home Cafe whilst traveling to Ulverston. The vegan menu is currently not available due to Covid but still a vegan breakfast and other options available just ask. Had a fabulous decaf coffee with hot oat milk so good I had two. Vegan breakfast was very good with homemade bubble and squeak cake and coconut bacon and plenty toast.
