Tasty izakaya food - Edit
This place has been a saver in busy Hakuba, getting there early we always managed to find a table for 1 hour or so - enough time for us to have dinner. They have a separate vegan menu that makes things easier. Tasty, warm comfort food such as plain udon and keema curry, we quite enjoyed the homemade tofu cream and the sautee mushrooms. A bit less impressed with the yakitori shiitake mushroom (it's tiny).

Ask for the vegan menu - Edit
Some very nice vegan dishes on the separate vegan menu. Also has dishes that can be made vegan or are already veggie. Nice atmosphere, decent value and very friendly fast service

Open again for winter season - Edit
Friendly staff and tasty vegan options. Separate vegan menu (see photo) but other options such as French fries are on the main menu. Indeed, all items are on the main menu but the separate vegan menu makes it easier. Be aware that, like many places in Hakuba, they are open for winter and not in the off-season (despite Google showing many as being open). If visiting in peak season, I recommend going early to get a seat.

SO MANY OPTIONS - Edit
So so many options & vegan labelled! Tofu galore. Some of the best tofu I’ve ever had in my entire life. The “Asuka homemade tofu” is what they use and it is insane. Felt like I was eating a creamy blended feta cheese. Served with an olive oil drizzle. Also their fried version (with soy sauce/onion garnish) was immaculate as well. Vegan labelled tempura, udon noodles, salad, mushroom skewers, veggie skewers, and even an apple tempura dessert (served with presumably non-vegan ice cream though). Best meal I’ve had in Japan.
