Would have loved to try their bagels

Unfortunately by the time we got there just an hour after they opened they were out of their vegan bagels and they wouldn’t allow me to get a vegan sandwich instead because it wasn’t lunch. Luckily they had a farro salad on special that was available and could be made vegan. It was alright but had a little too much dressing.

Pros: Housemade items , Fresh , High quality

Cons: Limited quantities , Crowded, Not accommodating

MARFA , TEXAS

Fab service!!! Very flexible!! Humous plate with seed bread or sourdough and make your own delicious sandwich!! #Veganuary

Pros: One of the few spots in Marfa that has options

Cons: Make your own avo toast by ordering toast/sides

Charming and limited

We went for breakfast/brunch. Only two vegan sandwich options- sourdough bagel with avocado, tomatoes and cucumber or basically the same with hummus. We had the first and it was good, and what I based my rating on. They also had oatmeal made with oat milk.

There were no vegan pastries. They do sell their sourdough loaves, which we were hoping for.

Pros: Make their own sourdough bread, Sell the loaves of sourdough bread

Cons: Only two “breakfast” sandwich options on the menu, No vegan pastries

Good flavors

While looking for baked goods, I lucked into finding this bistro with vegan options in this small Texas town. I bought the roasted vegetable sandwich (served on vegan bread) minus any cheese/dairy and it was delicious. I also ordered freshly-made apple-beet-ginger juice and a kale salad to go. Enjoyed those, too!

Pros: Multiple dishes can be made vegan, Freshly-made juices!, Helpful staff

Cons: Smallish portions for the prices..., ...but this IS a tourist town.
