Serves meat, vegan options available. Sit-down restaurant. Menu denotes vegetarian options, and servers know which can be made vegan, i.e. substitute tofu or vegetables for meat.
Their curries are delicious like everything else on their menu. I like spicy food but just know their mild heat (you specify the heat level when you order) is pretty hot. Their dessert of sweet rice with mango is super & large enough to share among several people.
I’m so thrilled I finally got to eat here! They have a few tables inside their small grocery store. All the food was incredible! Our server was exceptionally knowledgeable about all the ingredients, gave great recommendations, and most of the menu is veganizable! You can customize the spice level. We had panang curry, pad nam prik pao, and pad thai. Entrees are around $10 and we had a lot of leftovers to take home. The table next to us had 4 vegans. The grocery has several interesting products including many vegan curry pastes and varieties of rice noodles. Easily one of my favorite recent discoveries in Houston, especially because of the huge variety of vegan options. Yum!
We live just 4 blocks from this little gem. They understand what you mean when you request vegan. I have had the pad Thai sans egg and the tofu with morning glory in the past. Both are very tasty with generous portions. They also have a small Asian grocery onsite.
