no idea about what's vegan - don't bother

we got here on a monday evening, place wasn't busy.
ordered the vegetarian sushi menu and asked for it to be vegan - no problem. then ordered fried rice with vegetables, again, asked for vegan. guy said "no egg" and i thought he obviously knew what i was after.

when the food came - the rice was all fine. the sushi though had something what looked like cream cheese in it. i asked what it was and whether that had milk in it. the guy shook his head. i asked him whether it was cream cheese and he said "yes, cream cheese". he then showed me the box it came in - and it was obviously dairy. i then showed him the ingredients (one even said, it consisted milk) but he still had no understanding, that cheese was actually milk...
i asked for him to prepare the sushi again as it obviously wasn't what i had ordered. he did but when we got the new sushi, there were still bits of the cream cheese on it. no idea whether he just tried to take it off with a tissue or similar. i wasn't impressed nor happy. thankfully, the other sushi didn't come with any dairy. but it wasn't enough to make me full. i left very displeased and had to get a (delicious) cigkofte on the other side of the road.

food was cheap but what's the point if you can't even eat it?

Cons: no idea of the concept of vegan food, no clearly marked vegan options (obviously), they don't even try to get it right it seemed
