Most people that I know prefer Ganesh to Ashoka purely because Ashoka is extremely overpriced. The food is good, definitely less vegan options compared to Ganesh. The waiters speak very poor English and can’t explain the dishes properly, don’t know what contains milk/eggs etc. The chana masala is tasty though.
Thought the food was good, and my Omni partner enjoyed his food too. Maybe a little pricey for what we would normally pay for Indian but service and everything was really polite and interior decoration was really lovely too.
Had the Dhal with beans, mixed vegetables curry, basmati rice, garlic naan and a large beer. Ate everything as it was very tasty, though clearly enhanced with dairy product. 23 eur.
I went to this place only once with my friend and I liked it. They had quite a big selection of vegetarian dishes. It's maybe a little more expensive then say Royal Kashmir or Punjabi Dhaba but the food is good. We had shahi paneer and aloo gobhi. I was "only" a vegetarian at the the time but if you are vegan maybe it's better to make sure they don't use ghee.
