What a treasure to find! - Edit
Gorgeous flavour vegan ice creams, dark chocolate & mango nestled in the heart of Skala! Made the rainy & thundery trip there so much more worthwhile!

Homemade Tasty Vegan Ice Cream - Edit
During our visit, Arte Italiano Gelateria had 3 Vegan flavours available, Mango and Passion Fruit, Strawberry and Dark Chocolate. These are not labelled, but the staff will guide you to the vegan options.
Read moreIt is a small family run business and the staff are very friendly and will let you try each of the flavours so that you can make the right decision, I have visited a few times during my time in Skala.
All 3 flavours are very tasty and the scoops are generous. It is slightly more expensive than other vendors, but the quality difference is apparent.

Amazing ice cream / sorbet - Edit
We all really enjoyed our ice cream here, 3 sorbets and was accommodating and used a separate spoon for our friend with a nut allergy. Dark chocolate sorbet was the standout for the group.

Best Vegan Ice Cream! - Edit
This was such a delight to find! It was so nice to be able to eat lots of ice cream while on holiday, especially as the hotel we stayed at had no vegan desert. This place was a life saver, and the girls who served us here were so kind and friendly! I honestly recommend it!

Friendly owner who makes all of the ice creams himself. When we went the vegan options were mango and passionfruit, strawberry and sour cherry, dark chocolate - tried them all in the week we were there and they were all delicious!

I was so happy to find a vegan dessert on the island. The flavours are amazing and so tasty. The owner is very passionate about his business, explaining the methods he uses and where he sources the flavours.
