Good for dinner

Had the impossible burger here, was a good dinner option in the area. Nothing special but not too bad either.

Decent vegetarian options

Kids liked the American Gothic (sans eel sauce) "sushi". My Beyond Burger was fine, and everyone liked the mozzarella "wontons" (great tomato sauce). As noted in other reviews, a lot less on offer for vegans.

American Gothic!

The view was incredible. I chose the American Gothic sushi and my fiance got the Surreal Burger!

It was an amazing time, great cocktails. Loved the service!

Come here if you’re deficient in sodium

Had the beyond burger with a tortilla bun and a few sushi rolls. It’s Myrtle Beach so I wasn’t expecting an amazing meal but this place looked fun. Omg it was so incredibly salty. I could barely get through my burger. Non vegan gf also thought it was pretty terrible throughout (her burger was way undercooked) but if you look on google everyone raves about this place??? Gf ordered tempura battered onion rings they just looked like any old thick onion rings you’d get at a bad bar. Like where are these ppl from and what are they eating back home who say this is the best food they’ve ever had??

Cons: Super salty food , Bad sushi

Mediocre Experience

Vegan options extremely limited. Had the Beyond Burger with no bun (buns are not vegan, neither is the gluten free alternative) and a side of fries (frozen, not fresh). I also ordered a side salad with no cheese to fill me up. Rather pricey for just ok food. Non vegan family with me gave it a 6.5 out of 10.

Pros: Vegan option available though limited

Cons: Not enough vegan options, Burger Buns not vegan

Do not come here if you are vegan!!

I went to Art Burger for the vegan burger and vegan sushi roll. Come to find out, NONE of their burger rolls are vegan. You can get a beyond patty wrapped in lettuce but that is it. As far as sushi, you can order the kid's roll with just avocado and also, that is it. Highly recommend staying away from this restaurant.

Pros: Friendly staff, Knowledgeable staff, Beautiful view

Cons: No vegan buns for vegan burgers, Fries aren't vegan

Ok, not great

We’ve been travelling in our RV, relying on my pitiful cooking for weeks, so we were looking forward to having a meal out. Hubby ordered the veg burger, but we were told that the bun was not vegan and he was offered a lettuce wrap or pita instead. It came with fries, they were ok, not great. I got 2 vegan “chef’s choice” sushi rolls (they were huge, one probably would have been enough, but I was hangry). They were good, but not quite the $14 each kind of good - the first one was filled with mushrooms topped seaweed salad, the other was a veg burger patty with asparagus spears, topped with hummus and sriracha. Not typical sushi bar sushi :)

Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful, It was open off season, Nice art on the tables and walls

Cons: Expensive, Burger bun not vegan

Not terrible for Myrtle Beach

The server was helpful but the only things on the menu that were suitable for vegans was a Sushi roll with cucumber & avocado with soy sauce and the impossible burger patty. The buns aren’t vegan and they don’t have any vegan mayo if you decide to get the burger. I’m not sure if the black bean burger here is vegan as well. The regular and sweet potato fries aren’t vegan as the breading has egg in it. But the view was nice. I’d eat here again if the got some more vegan options. I left pretty hungry.

Good Food, Lousy Service

When my brother and I walked into the restaraunt there was no hostess to be seen. We looked at the art displays on the wall street for about 10 minutes when someone finally spoke to us and immediately seated us. The menu had vegan burgers and a vegan salad, but there was no vegan sushi on the menu. I also thought it was incredibly tacky to offer vegan burgers but no vegan buns, and to offer a store bought burger (Beyond Burger) then charge $12 for it without any dazzling vegan toppings, just run of the mill veggies, ketchup, and mustard. I ordered the “Name Your Own” sushi with avocado and double cucumber plus sesame seeds. They did not offer any vegan seafood substitutes but the waitress did mention they could put Beyond Burger in the sushi, which did not sound appealing to me in the least. The only vegan sauce they offered was soy sauce. I also ordered plain French fries and a small Persistence of Memory salad. My brother ordered the El Greco (non-veg). We only ordered water so I can’t comment on their drinks, though they seemed to have a nice selection. When our food arrived everything tasted very good. Unfortunately, it took about 40 minutes to get our full order! At no point did our waitress say “Sorry there’s going to be a bit of a wait” or “Sorry your order will be out soon” before she brought our food to us. We also saw his burger and my sushi sit up on the counter for a good 10 minutes before she brought the food out to us. Then I waited additional time for my salad and fries. She did apologize for the second wait on my food. They had a fair number of restaurant guests, but they weren’t packed by any means. Not sure if they were understaffed or what the deal was, but we were disappointed by our visit.

Pros: Vegan Options, Good Food, Free Parking

Cons: Lousy Service, No Vegan Buns, No Vegan Seafood Substitutes for Sushi

Best vegan burger ever!

Hands down, this place has the juiciest, most flavorful vegan burger I've ever had. Make sure you order without the bread if you're vegan. The restaurant itself is super cool. I love the décor and service is excellent. Will be coming back everytime I visit Myrtle beach.

Beyond Delicious!!

Art Burger was a great little burger joint featuring art from local artists. They offered three vegan patty options, and were happy to use those patties on any other burger set up. We had the Beyond patties, and they definitely did not disappoint. I haven't had a vegan burger that good since I was on the west coast. I definitely recommend this place

Pros: several vegan options.

Cons: parking was complicated.

Good burgers, no buns

Three good vegan burger options. They do not have vegan buns, substitute for pita bread, tortillas, or lettuce wrap. The wait staff was very helpful picking a good bun alternative. The meat eaters in my family were very happy with their burgers as well, which is saying something since they are skeptical of all vegan friendly restaurants.

Pros: Three vegan options , Good service

Cons: No vegan burger buns.

Vegan options on the beach!

This was a great discovery! In a town with no vegan or vegetarian restaurants, this best you’ll do is vegan options. And this place is great — three veggie burgers, lots of salads and sides. Plus it’s right on the boardwalk with a view on the ocean. The nitrogen cocktails are cool too.

The owner is an artist and the restaurant is filled with paintings for sale.

We ordered the hummus platter and I’m pretty sure that the cilantro pesto that came with it had cheese in it...

Double and triple check with the server.

Also the vegan burgers are not cooked separately so if that’s important, best go elsewhere.

“The” place to be

For a Nitrogen cocktail or a full lunch or dinner, the patio is a great place to go and enjoy watching the ocean with great Vegan burger options!
