Only one vegan option - Edit
Opposed to the last reviews on here, we only got offered one vegan option, which was the vegetarian burger without cheese and bread (because it contains milk). But I was happy to see that the staff are aware of vegan diets and were thorough about checking what to omit. In the end, the meal was more like a salad with a patty and fries, but was tasty after all.

2 vegan options if you ask - Edit
There is no vegan option on the menu but the chef offered us 2 options: a salad with falafels and a risotto. We got both plus a side of sweet potato fries. I would recommend the salad for sure.

When we arrived we asked the waitress about the vegan options and she stated that there was a salad and a falafel dish that they were able to make vegan.
Read moreShe then also went to the kitchen to check with the chef and came back saying the chef could also make us a vegetable risotto if we would prefer that. We were really touched at this - and ordered the falafel and risotto. Both were tasty. They subbed out the creamy sauce on the falafel dish with a herby sauce instead.
We would recommend this place if you are stopping in Andenes.

They offer about 5 vegan meals of which I tried 3 , they were all made with love and tasted very good!

If you just go there, they will only hand you the usual menu with no vegan options. So you have to ask the service for vegan food and they will bring you a whole new vegetarian/vegan menu. They also told me that any vegetarian dish can be prepared as a vegan one.
