During a trip (October 2017)

Today the restaurant is closed, but we went in 2017.
Sandwich falafel is vegan with generous portion. And it was located near Metro station.
Service was fast.

Pros: Vegan sandwich, Near Metro station

great falafel

Really enjoyed lunch here, falafel sandwich and sweet potato fries were so scrumptious and very filling! Just what we needed after a morning of exploring the city on foot. Humble little gem of a place and very reasonably priced

Pros: big potions , price , location

Cons: it's small

I tried the falafel sandwich with hummus and friend aubergines, it was tasty and the portion was generous.
They also sell chips (made of potatoes or sweet potatoes).

Falafel sandwich

This is a take-away where you can get falafel-sandwiches, either with or without hummus, with or without eggplant. I’ve eaten falafel sandwiches all over the world and to be honest, I don’t think that they are outstanding. Nevertheless, they aren’t bad either. So, when you are nearby and hungry it’s a good option.

Pros: You won't leave hungry!, Fresh, All-vegan

Hi Mamba, thank your for your honesty.
Do you have the opportunity to try Falafel&Mehr and Falafel 1818 and review them? Personally, I am really interested in your opinion of their products and the falafel-community as well (for sure).
Aroma seems a bit hyped, but their sandwich is somehow addictive...

Excellent falafels

The falafels here could be the best I have ever had. They came in a pita with a generous serve of salad and hummus and it cost around 4.50 euros.

The staff were friendly and spoke English quite well, so we had no trouble ordering.

Pros: great falafels, inexpensive, friendly staff

Lecker falafel!

This is more of a 'grab n go' kind of place, although there are a couple seats but depends if you like to eat sat so close to a deep fat fryer...anyways the falafel pita was so yummy and REALLY spicey (when they ask scharf, they mean really scharf haha) lovely sauces and all made fresh, also amazing sweet potato fries and big portions. Would definitely return, is just a bit of the city not somewhere you would normally pass.
oh and the staff were not friendly, but am used to it in Germany :P

Pros: Freshly made falafel and fries, no meat or dairy on site, no onions! wohoo

Cons: everythings fried, not so great to sit in, could be closer to the city centre

Best falafel around :)

food tastes great. would like it if the same people who run it make a proper restaurant instead of a fast food joint. still, for a hard for joint, this is as good as they come (apart from the very limited seating)

Pros: best falafel I've had in a long time

Cons: very limited seating

Best falafels in town!

This is a great place where my girlfriend and me ate 2 times now. They have 3 different types of falafel:
- "plain"
- Hummus
- Aubergine (which is eggplant)
As a side you can choose between fries from sweet potato or normal potato.

I tried all 3 varieties now and they are all amazing! My girlfriend loves the eggplant one, I stick to the amazing hummus version. They are just unbelievably tasty!

Only downside of the place is the limited space. It's not really a problem though, cause a lot of people leave quite quickly. Even when the place was packed last night, we got a seat when our food was ready (which was pretty quick!)
We also didn't stick around for long, cause a cinema is nearby. Great place for a quick dinner before the movie starts.

The ventilation could be better I guess. At least in summer they offer an outdoor table though. Eating while walking is definitely not a good idea. They are very juicy (as they should be!).

All in all a great place for a quick bite. Nothing fancy, but the taste lets you forget about that very quickly. That's how it should be anyway :)

Pros: All vegan, Amzing taste, Convienient location close to cinema

Cons: Pretty small

Alt the fun without the risk!

Yesterday I visited the newest place in town - the derivate of Frankfurts' famous falafel church, Aroma.

Aroma vegan offers only plant based food, so there is no risk of spoiling vegan food with meat or dairy - which definitely is an important factor for the growing number of vegans.

The place is pretty tiny and provides 6 chairs and space for an estimated maximum of 10 guests.
The window to the street is used to served to sell pitas to go...

If you know the original restaurant, be advised: Right now, Aroma vegan offers the Pita-styles and sweet-potato fries only - not the well known plates. But they are testing the product range right now and may change that eventually.

One pita is definitely good sized and should be sufficient for one person.

The must-try is the falafel-hoummus-pita (4,5 Euros)
The taste is: O R I G I N A L L Y Aroma.

The small store is a perfect option if you are in a hurry, want to eat or want to grab some vegan food before going to the nearby cinema. Usually people meet @the restaurants in the cinema complex and the offer few or unacceptable vegan options. I try to get something decent to eat first and stick to the drinks with friends later. So I am more than happy about this new place.

Pros: TASTE., nice staff

Cons: not organic, few seats
