I’ve eaten here twice and I love the decor, the chef and the flavour surprises in each of the meals. You can tell the chef takes pride in quality ingredients and creativity.

Amazing vegan food with wonderful owner - Edit
I've been going to Arlo's ever since it opened and adore it. The food is top quality and the owner is so lovely, even offering my friend and I some free cake one day close to closing time. I often get the salads to take away and the in-house made bread is delicious.

Glorious hidden gem - Edit
Arlo is easy to miss. It’s in a very old building directly outside the Sandringham bound side of Middle Brighton station. The food is tasty. They do not have a big menu but what they have is superb. A salad of the day is always inventive; pizzas; falafel wrap and very good coffee. Rosie the baby of the cafe bosses everyone around it makes it a special treat to be there. Prices are reasonable and you just want to hang. Great place for lunch

The falafel balls are insane, the peanut butter and berry muffin was the best I have ever had and the coffee was really good. Louis is lovely and seems a huge repeat client base as he knew all the customers that came in the door

Read moreDistracted service today and underwhelming food. We were asked to order before got a chance to look at the menu and then all staff disappeared to the kitchen and did not emerge for some time. The tofu bowl was meant to be spicy but the entire bowl was very bland. The avo toast was topped with 3/4 of an unripe avo which made spreading it difficult. Coffee and green smoothie were okay.

The hummus plate is a filling meal with enough goodies to share between two moderately hungry people. The sweet potato chips were perfectly cooked too!
I'd come back to try the soups/stews and some of the sweet treats.
