Midnight Munchies - Edit
Arles and Boggs recently released a limited menu on Saturdays called midnight munchies and it did not disappoint. I wanted to try everything but narrowed down on the sriracha maple and the buffalo chicken nugs, stir fry taquitos, and the avocado street tacos. All of which were beyond out of this world amazing. I HIGHLY recommend you making it out there on a Saturday 9-12. Also the cucumber gin drink is on a level and jam packed with alcohol so take an Uber lol

Not a Vegan’s Vegan Restaurant - Edit
I want to preface this with the fact that the owner who was my waitress was outstandingly kind and i’m so happy to see more CT vegan options. This also seems to be in its early days, and the menu certainly reflects this. With that being said, maybe it will change. However, for a Vegan restaurant, It is incredibly limited with very basic options that you can find at most non-veg restaurants (salad, fried rice, falafel, veg chili for example). The soup section does not have soup, most options are fried, and the appetizers are unoriginal. Not the best representation of a vegan diet in our opinion. With this being said, I ordered the nachos. The portion size was fair but the entire menu is shockingly over priced with their entrees being around 15$ each...for falafel! My nachos were 12$. They were mediocre to my boyfriend and I, and could be easily created at home. They really didn’t have any ingredients to justify the price (no creative flair like coconut bacon, it was very basic chili/veg cheese sauce and cream cheese). It was super messy with limes being covered in cheese sauce which ended up on the floor when attempting to squeeze them-oops,sorry about that! I think this restaurant is a great option for someone wanting to try out a vegan meal. Which I think is great! However, this is not a worth while option for a seasoned plant-based/vegan/vegetarian palate. Just to note, the restaurant also had a confusing atmosphere. The dining room appears upscale and spotless with white table cloths while the entrance and street appeal is very hip, messy-coffee house. I felt awkward eating my sloppy nachos on top of an immaculate tablecloth. I was also waiting outside for a while after they opened because a waiter did not realize the doors were locked. I hate to leave a poor review for a vegan restaurant and small business, but hopefully they will step up their game with time!

Needs a lot of work - Edit
I was really hoping to love this place, but I was disappointed. The service was painfully slow and unfortunately the food was under seasoned and over cooked. I’m so happy that this place is plant based, but they can step up their vegan game. The food was visually appealing though.

Indulgent dishes. So good! Dishes from different countries, all so good. Nice to have different options in one place. Very homey feel. Taquitos and loaded potato skins are my top picks but haven’t had a dish I don’t like

I had the taquitos and the hummingbird cake. Both were excellent! The “cheese” and avocado topping were perfect atop the deliciously crunchy deep fried tortilla shell. I’ll be coming here again for sure!

Disappointed - Edit
We won’t go back unless it’s for convenience. My spouse wanted to try this since we were in the area for a concert. I was not impressed in all areas. Service was fine and staff was friendly. But for me, that is where my experience ends. The inside has no flare and I found it to be uninviting. Almost The menu is basic and the food is below standards. Not fresh. We had spring rolls, friend rice and a cake. Everything tasted pre made. The rice wasn’t fresh. The veggies in the rice look and tasted like they came from a frozen bag. And it wasn’t hot when it came out. Luke warm. The cake was definitely not fresh. Tasted like defrosted frozen desert.

So much delicious! - Edit
Everything on the menu, that we have tried, has been just heavenly! Serious comfort food that just hits the spot! Each meal is clearly made with care and love and the prices are super reasonable! And the service! Every person we have met here has been so warm and inviting! We always make new friends by the end of the meal! Our server, Lindsay, was so sweet and a great server! Very attentive, but not hovery! And the atmosphere is super lovely! A cross of old fashion romantic with a bit of hipster! Perfect for a night with friends or a date! Highly recommend coming in and trying everything!

Tasty vegan food in a cute setting - Edit
Great for date night! Menu was eclectic with dishes from around the globe. The bacon cheese fries appetizer was a huge portion, bring a friend, or order this as your main course. The kofta was delicious with a great texture and flavor, although the rice fell a little flat. The desserts seemed to be mostly gluten free...I had the hummingbird cake and it was delicious. It held up when I had the leftovers the next day too

Lovely spot for vegan comfort food - Edit
Wonderful food in a lovely, relaxed atmosphere! The owner is warm and welcoming - and was happy to offer us special accommodations for my partner, who has a hearing deficit and can't tolerate loud restaurants (turned out we didn't need to take her up on this, because the restaurant was peaceful and the background music wasn't loud). The food is delish! I don't think I've had chilli cheese fries since I went vegan, so I was in heaven. I do wish they have a some healthier options on the menu, but for pure vegan comfort food, it can't be beat! We'll be back!

Arles and Boggs Vegan - Edit
The staff was very friendly and welcoming. My waitress made the experience memorable and accommated to the needs of every customer. The falafel sandwich was delicious and very filling; the Cajun fries were also really good. Although the menu is a bit basic, the food was delicious. This restaurant is perfect for vegans and non-vegans alike!

Terrific addition to CT vegan dining - Edit
I recently heard about this new spot in Wallingford, CT and, boy, was it worth the trip. The menu is a nice mix of standards (loaded nachos, chili) and the refreshingly creative (Jackfruit pernil, rice & beans with plantains). Unlike many 21st century vegan restaurants, this one uses mainly plant-based foods rather than processed foods. For example, the ‘cheese’ sauce on the nachos is actually made with vegetables and without oil. Serves a full menu of appetizers, entrees, desserts and beverages. The staff report that a cafe next door will be opening soon. This place is not to be missed!

Preview visit - Edit
I dropped by here on my way out of Wallingford to grab a meal on the go. I got a ginger juice and a chili. Both items were great, ready in about 10 min. The ginger juice I thought was going to be sweet but turned out to be ginger and garlicky AF—- definitely a new experience but I didn’t hate it. The chili was tasty! They have some interesting stuff on the menu, a handful of Mediterranean items and a jackfruit dish. Overall, good little preview, I’d like to actually eat here.
