Best Artisan Ice Cream in Japan - Edit
Before it was listed in HappyCoW, I was recommended this place by a friend and I was skeptical when first calling the owner whether they will have at least a vegan option.
Read moreAs I spoke to the owner he said he was living in Italy, and as his passion is to make ice creams with local ingredients, as a matter what kind f fact, he makes some ice creams from rice milk derived from rice and that line of product doesn’t include any animal ingredients.
I drove to the shop to try it out and pleasantly surprised with the hospitable artisan-owner and to learn the number of ice creams free of animal ingredients. Excited, ordered a cup of ice cream made of plant ingredients and was delicious.
The shop is run by the passionate artisan owner who makes the ice cream in the shop. He is also can speak in English and learning Italian (since he lived in Italy and visits there often) besides his native Japanese.
