Lovely Vegan Sunday Roast

Very good vegan options. I had the seitan roast with potatoes, veg and vegan gravy, it was delicious. Looked like some nice dessert options too but I was too full after the dinner, so I’ll try them next time.

Pros: Great vegan options, Delicious food

Loved it

Great find in tallaght, was stuck for somewhere to eat & this place came up trumps. I had the vegan roast which is not something you see in Irish pubs! And it was delicious!

Excellent choice and tasty food

It’s hard to find somewhere in the area to have a good vegan meal and almost impossible to find somewhere with vegan meal choices. Kiltipper Inn is a gem with a very good choice with well made, presented and tasty vegan food. They serve lots of other dishes so others are catered for as well.

Pros: Good choice, Nice interior, Friendly staff

Cons: Hard to find if not a local , use google maps

Delicious vegan carvery

Be warned: this place gets very busy, especially when there's football on. The queue for the carvery can be very long. But that's where the complaints end. Ask for the vegan carvery and the chef will take out the joint from a separate area (no contact with meat), then take out a separate knife and cutting board to ensure no contamination. Delicious mix of hearty veg, mashed potato etc and lovely vegan gravy. You can get a small portion which would suit most people but if you're really hungry there's a gluttonous large serve too.

Pros: Delicious, Separate utensils etc to avoid meat contamination

Cons: Can be very busy , Not for people squeamish about seeing meat

A nice surprise

I was delighted to see this cafe come up when searching for somewhere nearby. I didn't expect much when walking in, however we were pleasantly surprised. They have a separate vegan menu and vegetarian section in the main menu. Service was very fast especially considering how busy it was (during Dublin v Kerry all Ireland final). I enjoyed the food although I probably wouldn't order the same dish again (vegan basket) no complaints as such, just was not a healthy option.

Pros: Very efficient service, Good range of options, Good portion sizes

Cons: Noisey/busy sports bar, Slightly on the pricier side, Bit of a strange location

Fantastic vegan carvery

I was delighted I came here. I was sceptical at first but the vegan carvery was so tasty and filling. It was so nice to have a dinner like this and I would recommend it to anyone in the area. They have a good selection of vegan options on their regular menu which is impressive and have recently changed their dessert jelly to vegan friendly. I will definitely be back.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, proper comfort food

Cons: Expensive, Location in a bit out of the way
