great food - Edit
Lunch buffet wasn't happening when I went (on a Thursday), not sure if they don't do it during the week or because of covid, didn't ask because I was still gonna eat anyways. The food was soo good!! A bit on the pricey side but the portions are fairly generous for the price. I had the crispy tofu cream cheese rolls which were delicious and then the drunken mushroom which was fantastic. I love love love mushrooms as well as drunken noodles so this was exactly up my alley. The mushrooms/plant based meat could've been cut a bit smaller though. Other than that the taste was fantastic, the service was friendly and I had a great lunch.
Read morePros: delicious, friendly and fairly quick service, large portions
Cons: pricey, mushrooms came in giant chunks, no buffet at lunch today

Happy to find Araya’s Place - Edit
We were delighted to find this fully Vegan Thai restaurant. Food was delicious. We had potstickers, mango salad and 2 entrees. Husband had dish with wide noodles. I had Cashew stir fry with rice. Both came out hot and so fresh tasting. Will adjust to your spice heat level. Once ordered food comes out quickly. But we did sit there a bit after receiving our water for a waitress to come take our order. This happened on both nights we had dinner in one week. We dined inside once and once on patio. Recommend highly but may be understaffed on servers at present. During our week in Seattle we found thus to be an issue in many places.

Great Thai Food! - Edit
First came here when I visited Seattle back in September. Now I live down the street from it. Love getting food here! One of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to in Seattle so far. Everything’s vegan and all the items are so flavorful and delicious.

Drunken mushroom noodles - Edit
Very clean and cozy restaurant. I had the Tom Kha soup which came out in a dish with a candle keeping it warm. Very delicious. I also had their drunken mushroom noodles. I travel to Thailand quite often and I have to say Araya's place is very good, they used authentic ingredients in the dishes and real peppers. This was some delicious food here. My taste buds are forever in your debt. Kap

Cozy Thai - Edit
We went for the Saturday brunch buffet and it was good. The buffet offered a variety of veggies, tofu, noodles, spring rolls and a salad bar. I found some of the food cooked too much, kind of mushy and lacking fresh herbs. Overall it was well priced for what was offered and the place was very cute. The buffet area was in a small room and one had to line up and wait to get to the food. Very friendly staff indeed.

Wonderful vegan Thai restaurant - Edit
I’m no expert on Thai food, but I guarantee you the lunch buffet is delicious – the hot entrees, the soups, and the salads. I worried a lot of the food would taste of coconut or pineapple, but it wasn’t like that at all. Each item is labeled as to how spicy and whether it is gluten-free. Located in a quiet courtyard in a pleasant residential area (but just 15 minutes ride from downtown on the No. 11 bus). Delightful outdoor tables (on this gorgeous September day) and attractive indoor rooms. You can walk from here to the Japanese Garden in 10 minutes on quiet streets and thru the woods.

We had veggie satay, tom kah soup, a noodle dish and a curry. The food was very flavorful and had lots of veggies. Medium spice was not overly spicy but you can taste it.

tasty curry - Edit
We went here and had delicious curries and appetizers. It ended up being a lot of food. I enjoyed being able to order vegan Thai curry without worrying about fish sauce. Cute environment, casual, but can dress it up. Comfortable for a low-key date.

Best buffet ever! - Edit
When you go to a buffet, you usually expect some slack in quality in favor of quantity. Not so here! This lunch buffet was the best Thai and the best buffet I've ever had. The flavors were amazing and super complex. There were several hot dishes, a salad with amazing flavor (never had a dressing that tasted like that), soups, and dessert. The restaurant itself is beautiful and there's an outdoor area in a courtyard. Will definitely come here anytime I'm in Seattle!

Beautiful and trendy - Edit
We loved eating here on our stop through town on a roadtrip. The menu is large and everything we ordered was delicious and a very good portion. Some of us didn’t quite finish our meals. We got the cashew tofu stir fry with a generous portion of rice, Tom yum soup with noodles, the Thai stir fry, and coconut ice cream. Decent service and comfortable. Extremely clean restaurant. Beautiful location. The entrance on the main road you must turn down into a courtyard to find it, or turn right at the next street and it’s a few doors down.

Just what I was hankering for! - Edit
The lunch buffet is such a great option! You get to try a variety of tasty Thai things including soup and black rice pudding (which wasn't really my thing but glad I got to try a small amount). There's also fruit for dessert, or you can order fried banana with ice cream etc from the main menu. They didn't ask me about drinks and I forgot too but there's vegan Thai iced tea.
