Looks stunning

I ve been following Arapina on social media for a while and on visiting London this had to be my first port of call.
On entering the small cafe it looks amazing. Very instagrammable! I was so excited to be trying the pastries and ordered the pistachio croll, almond croissant and pain au chocolate along with a matcha latte for my daughter.
As a party of three we all tried a bit of each others order and all thought the same thing. Looks beautiful at a glance but on eating all the pastries were stale and a bit burnt. However, my sister enjoyed the flavour of the almond croissant but I found it too rich. The pistachio croll was rather stale and the cream inside was greasy. At £6.95 it’s rather expensive.

My daughter had the matcha latte which she wasn’t sure whether they used cow’s milk or not. I don’t recall whether the serving staff had asked for preference of milk and I guess we had assumed would be made from soya. Our mistake there, so make sure to state which milk you want on ordering. She left most of the latte as she hadn’t said anything to me at the time.

It’s such a shame it didn’t live up to expectations.

Pros: Looks beautiful

Cons: Stale pastries, On the burnt side, Pricey

So many fab options!

All I can say is wow! Been following this bakery on social media so when it came to staying in Greenwich I knew I had to stay near and visit and I was not disappointed.
We had the savoury mushroom and leek croissant (10/10), rainbow pasty (10/10), almond croissant (10/10), pistachio croll (10/10), cinnamon brioche (8/10), pear macaron (8/10), and a pumpkin pie (4/10).

We will definitely be back and I will be getting a croll again -the one I had was just perfection!

Cinnamon brioche was delicious

I went to the one in Greenwich market and it had a great vegan range of foods, including some savoury "crolls", mushroom sausage roll etc. I only had the cinnamon brioche and it was so good!

Decent enough

Don’t let the mixed reviews put you off checking this place out. There is enough interesting variety to make it worthwhile if you’re in the area. The coffee is decent and the vegan pastries I had were above average. Strange location though.

Tasty pastries, lots of options

The cafe is really chill and there's lots of vegan pastries to choose from! The price is a little more than other places but we loved the unique selection!

Amazing cafe.

So many vegan options— and good options. I love the atmosphere. It’s also dog friendly.

Wouldn't recommend

I was excited to see that there was a café with many vegan options just around the corner from where I live, but was disappointed by my first visit.
The pastry I chose (raspberry croll) was stale and tasted like it had been baked the day prior. I'm also *pretty sure* that the iced latte I ordered didn't come with oat milk (despite my repeating it twice) but whole milk...
Not sure if I just went on a bad day, but I won't be trying my luck again.

Best vegan french pastries in London

This place definitively deserves a recognition. The pastries are awesome and big, and most of them are vegan! Truly recommended.

Avo Toast 10/10

I loved this spot! Came after seeing it on the LittleLondonVegan Instagram.. So many new options, I went for breakfast and the staff were lovely. I had a avocado on rye toast which was delicious and filling (portions are really good). I also had a jasmine tea and it came with a cute timer to get the "perfect tea".

Pros: Tea timer, Avocado toast , Giant cakes

Was really disappointed

They had loads of veggie and vegan options but sadly my experience was really disappointing.
Had the pain au chocolat (recommended by staff) and pistachio croll. Both had a bad oil flavor and very oily. Orange juice was good though

Pros: Very kind staff , Great to see so many vegan options , Cute décoré

Cons: Food , Far from london city center

To good to go order

I picked up a 2G2G order, which you can collect up until 8pm although I think the actual sit in part was closed so it seems like they stay up later for deliveries which is nice. In my pack I got 5 vanilla macarons and 2 tarts - all of which are AMAZING. I have never had vegan macarons and although I’ve been vegan for 6 or 7 years now from my memory these were almost exactly the same texture, maybe a little softer. The one thing was that after spending £4 on all of this together has made me die a bit inside seeing from the reviews here that just one macaron is £3.50 - if I hadnt got it reduced these would probably have added up to over £25 of desserts! Also the store was a bit out of the way but I say that by London standards which means I had to walk 10 mins from my bus stop haha.

I keep meaning to try https://toogoodtogo.co.uk have you found it, err, good?

Yes I absolutely love it!! Its a bit difficult as a vegan because you can only really buy from fully vegan places unless places list a specifically vegan option. But I use it all the time for places like Eat of Eden and a few others places, deffo recommend!!

Great, as we're further out of town than you, being almost on the Kent border, fully vegan places aren't an option sadly. Will have to look into what's available locally.

Great place to stop for cake and coffee

Worth seeking out this cafe that's a bit off the beaten track. Coffee is great and the cakes are delicious and low sugar. Friendly and welcoming. They have some seating outside.

Pros: Creative selection of cakes and savoury snacks

Delicious

We just tried Arapina for the first time via Deliveroo. Wow.
The food was incredible and the packing was thoughtful - such a nice touch. The toasted avo, sun dried tomato and walnut sandwich was amazing, mushroom rolls delicious and we’ve even bought cinnamon rolls for later.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Vegan cinnamon rolls!!

Lovey salads and raw cakes

As the other reviewer said, expensive but worth it. Quite a few vegan options and some that are also gluten free such as the decadent nut based raw cakes, some of which are also sugar free. Staff are friendly and willing to adapt the salads to make them vegan. Good quality food.
Look out for good value options on the Too Good to Go app.

Pros: Outside seating (away from traffic), Quality salads , Amazing cakes

Cons: Inside space is small, Location is a bit out of the way

Best vegan bakery options

So many vegan and vegetarian options here, this includes a whole counter full of cakes/pastries/bread/sweet and savoury, and a menu with breakfast options (including vegan pancakes) and lunch and dinner options, it’s a little expensive but definitely worth it and they have student discount❤️

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Lots of organic ingredients
