Delicious! - Edit
I encountered Arapina Bakery at a Crystal Palace Park outdoor Sunday market. The mushroom roll, warmed up at home, was absolutely delicious! So were the mince tart and fabulous cookie. Very well done, and all vegan! That is, all the things being sold that day were vegan, but I understand that the bakery is not exclusively vegan.

How had I not been here before?! - Edit
I knew about arapina as a vegan friendly though rather expensive bakery, but I didn’t know they sold pancakes! They were great. And actually not quite as pricey as their main baked goods range. Really cute venue in Deptford too.

Exceptional pistachio croll - Edit
Oh I just wanted to try one of everything here as almost everything is vegan! Sadly I couldn’t as my traveling companions were not happy to help me indulge so I had to choose one thing. The pistachio croll was heavenly with the pistachio cream inside. 🤤 it’s very large too so a huge portion for one. At £7.50 it’s on the luxury side of spending. I’m glad I finally got to try this. My partner had a very fresh and healthy London smoothie with mint, spinach, avocado, cucumber, apple juice which was £7 and on the expensive side. It’s tough for vegan forward businesses to survive these days though so I’m happy to support them. I’m thrilled that they make such unique vegan creations!

Travelled all the way to Greenwich to finally find a vegan New York Roll - I basically had lunch with the pistachio one. So good I wanted to marry it!

Good enough - Edit
Good pastries, most are vegan. Not life changing, but good enough. The almond croissant was stale. Overall a bit pricey for what it is.

Yummy but pricey! - Edit
Almost all of their pastries are vegan and freshly made on the spot! It smells incredible! Came here two times with my dad. The pain au chocolat, raspberry roll and cinnamon bun are really tasty. Service is super friendly! Only downside is the price! 7.50£ for a roll is exagerated!

Nice treats - Edit
Visited here after a long wait 🥐 Most of the baked selection is vegan, so there is an abundance of options covering lots of food fads that vegans normally miss out on!
Read moreOverall I had a good experience, it is expensive but it’s London. I tried the pistachio croll which was dry and lacking pistachio flavour, but the tiramisu croissant cube I tried the next day was delicious and hit the spot.

Nice but Pricey Treats - Edit
I love the fact that most of their products are vegan. And they have lots of choices! We tried the tiramisu cube and Biscoff cube from Arapina Bakery in Deptford. While the fillings were creamy and delicious, the pastry itself was a bit dry. At £11.50 for two pieces, it felt quite steep for what we got. A nice treat, but not sure it justifies the price!

Perfect Vegan Brunch - Edit
Anastasia was very patient whilst I worked through all the delicious vegan baked items. Went for a vegan breakfast sausage kroll which was super tasty and as a takeout, a cinnamon bun, macarons and a raspberry kroll. Hubby went for an avocado on rye which was equally delicious. Staff super helpful with my onion allergy. Nice location, good view of the kitchen and outside seating is a bonus. Would highly recommend!

Surprised to read bad reviews on here, came to tick this place if my list! Had the almond croissant which tasted amazing! So much filling really great and filling. Have bought the biscoff cube croissant home for tomorrow so hope it tastes just as good 😊

Insult to croissant and pain au chocolat - Edit
When reading the previous reviews I thought it was weird because the pictures of the food seemed really appealing… well, I can only confirm what has already been said. Both the croissant and pain au chocolat were dry and over cooked. I didn’t like the cinnamon roll frosting. The pain aux raisins was ok. Really disappointed, maybe they are just not good at French pastry and I should have tried something more basic like a brownie, I don’t know. Wouldn’t go back.

Lovely place - Edit
The vegan pastries are very impressive! Most of them are really tasty, as well as good looking. I believe the only thing I didn’t really enjoy were the macaroons which I found a little bland. I also wish they had a better vegan savoury selection but I’d nevertheless recommend this place!

Arapina - Edit
I’ve had this place bookmarked for a while after seeing all the wonderful photos of the vegan pastries online, so I was very excited to finally make my way over.
Read moreBasically, all of the pastries were vegan, except for a few savory things. This was a wonderful surprise. I ordered the chocolate croissant and, at the recommendation of the staff, the pistachio croll. The chocolate croissant was the best of the two but seemed stale. The pistachio croll was very disappointing, as it was very dry / stale and tasted more like regular bread. I didn’t care for the pistachio filling. I personally wouldn’t order these two things again. It’s really a shame, because the food looks so beautiful and stunning, and staff were incredibly friendly, but the flavor and textures just weren’t there for me.

Good looking vegan choices but not very tasty - Edit
I love how the vegan pastries look like but I didn’t like the sweet ones. We tried 2 sweet ones and a savoury one and I would not like to try the sweet ones again.

Although not a vegan café, they offer a large selection of vegan options throughout the day which don’t disappoint. We have eaten here many times and the staff are always friendly and welcoming.
Read moreThe Sausage Croll is a perfect brunch option with a coffee (milk alternatives available). Definitely worth a visit if you love pastries!
Pros: Large selection of vegan options, Friendly staff, Plenty of seating (however can get busy)
Cons: Outside is a bit of a wind trap on colder days, It’s a working bakery and so can be noisy at times

Tasty Pastries, Dreadful Experience - Edit
Very tasty vegan pastries. Coffee is poor. Service was abysmal. No warmth, bordering on hostile. I rarely write negative reviews but I feel like this is public service.

Prezzi molto alti!

Loads of great options 🥐 - Edit
What a cute little cafe! I really enjoyed the raspberry croll and the savoury rainbow pastry. They both had delicious filling and the pastry was perfect. The coffee was good too. I wasn’t crazy about the tiramisu cube, it looked beautiful, but the edges were quite dry. All the food is very clearly labelled vegan or vegetarian. I’ll definitely be back to try some more things!

Amazing bakery - Edit
I’ve wanted to visit this bakery for ages and it didn’t disappoint. It’s only a 15 min walk from the Cutty Sark so worth the visit if you’re in the area. The croissants are really amazing with such amazing flavours you rarely find for vegans. The service from Anastasia was 10/10. Will definitely be back again.

Vegan cubed, tiramisu croissant with coffee. Cycled 50 miles to try this place, and safe to say this fuelled the journey back too. It was definitely on the pricier side by worth it as a treat.
