Great for date night! - Edit
This place has the best vegan sushi in the city, hands down! None of those boring cucumber rolls - this place takes already delicious veggies and elevates them with their sauces and pickled fruits and vegetables.
They have a separate vegan/vegetarian menu that is clearly labeled and has a wide variety to choose from. Everything we ate was amazing, but my absolute favorite was the charcoal grilled maitake mushrooms with black sesame paste and pickled plum sauce! WOW. Seriously the best thing I've eaten in quite a while.
It's definitely a place to save for special occasions as it is quite expensive. Also, note to make reservations because it's an intimate spot and you won't want to get stuck by the bar/chef table (displays all the fish products right in front of you).
Pros: wide selection, clearly labeled, attentive staff
Cons: pricey, fish display
