Passable - Edit
We'd run out of trying other places and finally came across here that had a vegan option on their menu. A 'breakfast'; it was 1 x hash brown, a vegetable burger, beans, mushrooms half a tomato and a slice of toast and some greenery on top. It was small over priced and beige. It was lacking somewhat. Wouldn't take much to actually make it decent. Other food from the kitchen looked more substantial.
Read moreAlso it didn't help that the whole place just smelt of meat cooking.
There are some tables outside and probably preferable to sit there.
There aren't many options in Ludlow and being honest I wouldn't rush back here however much of a pinch I was in.
You need to ask for the vegan menu as well.

Desultory breakfast - Edit
Their breakfast really was basic, mostly fried, crap little burger, no sausage or mushrooms and the tomato was dessicated. Could Do Better.

Cons: You've got to request it

Meagre breakfast - Edit
My partner was delighted at the thought of the opportunity of a cooked vegan breakfast when we visited Ludlow. The result turned out to be lacklustre and dismal. A budget veggie burger with beans, dry toast and shriveled half tomato. No mushrooms or veggie sausages, or even anything that looked appetising enough to eat. I'm not sure why they even bother with it on the menu as it basically gives the impression they can't be arsed and think vegans will be happy with any old uninspiring crap.
Read moreI had the Buddha bowl which was quite nice, although I don't think the hummus tasted of anything.
Next time we'll go back to the Squirrel - at least you can get chips there.

Several vegan and gluten free choices.
I chose Buddha bowl. Very tasty and would have again. But felt £14 95 or £14.99 expensive for basic ingredients .

Nice café/restaurant - Edit
Great to see a place in Ludlow with gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options especially for my Mum who is both Ceoliac and vegetarian. Fairly good choice and my Mum very much enjoyed her goat's cheese salad. However my Napoli pasta sauce was very sweet as if it had a chutney or even pure sugar in it. The waitress was kind enough to take it off the bill and I had a Buddha bowl instead. The most of this meal was very nice but the sauce the rice was in was also very sweet.

Cons: Quite expensive, Overly-sweet sauce

Lovely food, lovely cafe - Edit
I've had the vegan breakfast at Aragon's, and the Buddha bowl, and both were great! You do have to ask for the veggie & vegan menu, as it's separate to the main one, but other than that, it's a very nice place for vegan options in Ludlow!

Tasty food but why do you have to ask for vegan menu? - Edit
Was just given a menu only when looking at it realised there were no vegan options on there so asked the question. Why keep the vegan menu a secret? Some non vegans do eat plant based meals too!
Read morePros: Separate vegan menu but only provided when asked, Good value
Cons: Service not with a smile!

Lovely cafe :) - Edit
Called in here whilst visiting Ludlow, after reading the previous review. Make sure to ask for the vegan menu as they didn’t offer it automatically. Choice of plant based milks. I had the Buddha bowl which was huge and really tasty. Staff were all really friendly and polite. Was very busy and some tables were reserved, so worth calling ahead if you’re able to.

Breakfast at Aragons - Edit
The cafe is really trying to accommodate various dietary requirements and that's great. Some tweaks needed, as Smoked Salmon is listed under a Vegetarian option. The vegan breakfast burger is a vegetable crumbed fritter, and that's OK with me. Oat milk is available, but no dairy free spread for the toast. Service was fantastic 😊💚💚👌

Cons: No dairy free spread. 🙁
