Decent breakfast option

The pancakes were good I did bring my own vegan butter and real syrup (corn syrup flavored [censored] doesn’t do it for me but that’s every restaurant) they have margarine but not every margarine is vegan and didn’t want to risk it. The home fries were in fact potato so you can’t go wrong there potatoes are life. And the vegan sausage was okay they also have a vegan chorizo that i didn’t try. A guy at a table behind mine ordered it with rice I believe but not sure if the rice is vegan or not you’ll have to check that yourself . (:

Pros: Vegan meat, Vegan pancakes , Potatoes

Great spot!

Found this place to satisfy my vegan diet and my father’s “Cracker Barrel” diet. I got the vegan pancake, vegan sausage, and home fries which according to the server were also vegan so I hope I was not lead astray. Everything was delicious especially the pancake. One of the best pancakes I have ever had. There is cinnamon in the batter, and while I was dubious at first, I am a total “cinnamon in the pancake” convert now. My dad though the vegan sausage was great. Look forward to a return trip.

Pros: Great vegan pancakes , Great service

Cons: Not a ton of vegan options on the menu, Restaurant is loud

Good vegan pancakes!

They have delicious vegan pancakes, plus vegan sausage! However, they don’t offer vegan omelets or scrambles which I think is a huge mistake especially since I learned they use JUST Egg in the pancake batter.

Pros: Yummy pancakes, They have plant milk

Cons: Always busy, Not willing to make vegan omelettes or scramble.

Nice place for vegan pancakes

Stopped at this locally owned breakfast/ brunch cafe while visiting the area. My family of three vegans all chose the pancakes breakfast. It came with two pancakes and a side of fruit. We added vegan sausage. Everything was very good and the service was excellent. We would definitely go back.

Pros: Vegan pancakes, Vegan sausage, Good coffee selection

Huge Disappointment

I was excited to see that they had vegan pancakes on the menu. However it turned out to be a huge disappointment in terms of presentation, thought and price. Two plain, average size dry pancakes. Supposed to come with a side of fruit but we had to ask twice for it. It was a bowl of under-ripe pineapple chunks and red grapes. No butter and the syrup was the 'fake' so-called 'maple syrup' which is essentially corn syrup, water and food coloring. This type of 'vegan-friendly' place is the reason that I typically try to stay away from. They throw one or two vegan items on the menu without any further thought or creativity to make a good experience for a vegan. I would have liked to see vegan butter and real maple syrup. As for the fruit...it seemed like they gave us whatever was handy in the kitchen. I mean, Hendersonville is surrounded by apple and fruit orchards. Some fresh or stewed apples with cinnamon or homemade applesauce would made this way better, if they wanted to make the effort.
The price was ridiculous...eleven dollars for 2 dry pancakes and leftover fruit.
Additionally the service as awful. I waited 10 minutes before even being acknowledged by the server.

Pros: The coffee was good.

Cons: Expensive, Lack of creativity or effort, Loud, lack of atmosphere

Great Vegan Breakfast

I am so satisfied after this delicious breakfast at Arabella. I highly recommend building your own vegan breakfast made from sides - I chose waffle hash browns (hashbrown patties) topped with onions, peppers, tomatoes, and avocado. And added a side of vegan sausage. The sausage is good quality, really tasty. I can't place what brand it is, but I am super picky and I enjoyed it a lot. Usually the vegan breakfast options are an afterthought, but not here. Also, they were super accommodating and didn't even blink when I wanted to put side dishes together.

Pros: Vegan pancakes, vegan sausage, vegan yogurt

Awesome

They went above and beyond to be as accommodating as possible for me and my fam! 💞 they have a wide variety of drinks and the vegan options were delicious.
