CaVegan Emptor - Edit
Very disappointing.
The food is good but its Veganosity is questionable.I was assured that my piece of cake was Vegan but the next day I was told it had milk in it.
Also, the daily menu of 9 soles lost its appetizer and dessert but not its (same ) price on Sunday.Upon inquiring I was told, " It's Sunday."
Pros: Tastes good, Vegan options
Cons: Workers don't know what Vegan is

Too high expectations? - Edit
The menu sounded promising and the prices were good, too.
I've ordered a Hot Dog with fries (4S/.) and a piece of cake (3S/.).
The hot dog came cut in pieces in a burger bun that was toasted too much and the fries were also not very good looking but fine.
The portion was a little small and they could at least made it a little bit better looking for the eye.
The cake was good.
Pros: Price, Option
Cons: Portion, Look

Yum vegan bakery - Edit
The owners herein determined veganism, so we had no issues ordering some great snacks. I had a nice oat and corn loaf for 3soles. Delicious, but I would say the price was maybe a little high. They also do breakfast and lunch. They had sweets like tarts and cakes, which were all around 3soles. Also for sale was vegan yogurt and fake meats.
So yep what really impressed me was that they knew about veganism and could tell me all the ingredients for each dish.
Pros: vegan knowledge, great baked goods, friendly staff
Cons: bit expensive for a bakery (in SA)

Bummer - Edit
My wife and I went here when we were in Arequipa recently. There were no vegan options available, even though it said they had some on their menu. Super disappointing.
Cons: No vegan options

Good food, open nights and weekends, good price! - Edit
I ate here several times during December 2014. I thought the food was good and would recommend it to others. It's a large place with lots of tables and several dining rooms.
The lunch of the day currently costs 8 soles and comes with a lot of food. You get soup, salad, and the main plate (3 choices of the main plate if you don't get there too late). Plus a drink and a cup of yogurt.
Only a few blocks from the main square, and they are open until 800pm during the week, and even open for lunch on Sunday!
Pros: Food good and priced right, Lots of tables, Location
