A chill vegetarian restaurant serving hamburgers, stew, salad, and much more, some of which are vegan. Open Tue-Sat 12:00pm-5:00pm, Fri-Sat 7:00pm-11:30pm, Sun 10:00am-2:00pm.
Fri & Sat 7:00 pm - 11:45 pm (not 11:30 pm).
We went here for their lunch offering almost every day in the 3 weeks we stayed in Quito. The food is delicious, the service is so fast, and the space itself is pretty rad!
(In the end, we ended up selecting places to live in Quito based on how far they were from Apu Wasi :p)
We had lunch here almost every day during our one month stay in Quito. The daily almuerzo is delicious and clearly prepared with a lot of love and attention. Unlike some other lunch places, the food is really exciting: one day we had canneloni, the next a traditional Ecuadorian dish, then a Japanese platter...
I was surprised to see the 2 bad reviews stating bland food as I found ApuWasi the most flavorful vegan food we found in Quito😄Maybe the quality has improved recently!
I had the lunch of the day (currently $5), it was a big amount of food which definitely doesn’t leave you hungry. The staff was also very friendly, but unfortunately i didn’t really like the food. It tasted dry and a little boring.
We were so happy to find ecuadorian traditional dishes in a vegan version. The flavors are really and they have a lot to offer in the menu. Recommended.
We were really excited to try this restaurant, after having read good reviews on google. But unfortunately we were very disappointed by the taste of the dishes. We were 3 people and none of us was satisfied.
In addition, some if the dishes were cold, despite us being the only guests at that moment.
Also the waiter (owner?) was really disinterested.
The only positive was the amount of vegan dishes they offer.
