Delicious Breakfast

Wandered to Apple a Day Cafe for their breakfast options.
It was a very cute place with many vegan options. Enjoyed the eggy (tofu) burrito and took a blueberry muffin to go.

Pros: Good vegan options, Welcoming staff, Yummy breakfast

Cons: The patio is basically in a parking lot.

Great food

So far I’ve had the tofu pizza, the teriyaki quinoa bowl, tofu scramble, smoothie, and a couple juices. Loved all of it

Alright

The black bean wrap was good. The lentil soup was basically water. Peanut butter cookie was meh. Sadly way too many delicious looking non-vegan options so if only come here if you have no where else to go.

Pros: Good wrap

Cons: Lots of non-vegan, Bad soups

Good for snack and coffee

Many vegan options with vegan cheese as a sub option. The staff is young and friendly. You order at the counter and sit in a spacious indoor area or there is small tables outside.
I’ve tried 4 items:
Oat Milk Latte: It’s good!
Blueberry Muffin: It’s really good!
Breakfast Burrito: Underwhelming and tastes like something I made when I was just starting off on my vegan journey. I appreciated the large fruit cup of strawberries and pineapple on the side!
Citrus B Juice: Expensive but really good!

Overall I would say this is a perfect place for a coffee and muffin experience. I’m still open to trying other dishes, like the Teriyaki Bowl or the Vegan pancakes.

When looking at another review which said Apple A Day is “dirty,” my reply is that this is a casual place so it’s not perfectly clean in all areas. I may have more patience for all of this because I’m in the service industry. I do agree the prices are a bit much especially you want a juice… but for me, I just expect this kind of pricey in Miami Beach.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Great coffee, Great vegan bakery item

Yummy Smoothies

The food looked great, but I had only stopped in for a smoothie. The Citrus Sunrise smoothie was delicious 😋 definitely will be going back!

Decent

They have some good vegan options. My dish was a bit too liquidy. I wouldnt go out of my way to eat here but if you’re in the area, it’s a solid vegan option.

Loved it!

So glad that my boyfriend and I decided to try Apple A Day while we were in South Beach.
Both the smoothies and food came in big portions and tasted absolutely amazing! The service was very friendly and fast. We were extremely happy and would return. I would also like to add that considering how expensive South Beach is, I thought our bill was very reasonable.

Pros: Big portions, Great smoothies, Good gluten free options

Offers juice fast & great vegan snacks

Apple a day has good food, but it is a little too pricey for the quality they offer.

I loved how they carefully put together a juice fast for me, but it was very expensive, and about half of the juices were almost undrinkable.

I loved the chocolate bunniecakes and some other vegan snacks they offered.

Pros: Great vegan snacks, Offers juice fast, Very vegan-friendly

Cons: Bit expensive, Juices not very tasty

This is South Beach?

It was refreshing to find a veggie friendly place to eat in Miami Beach (even though it's a bit removed from all the action). But, for the price you pay for the food, I'd expect the place to be cleaner and have greater ambiance.

By clean, I mean there was a huge spider web hanging from one of the beams to the ceiling. I'm sure the employees can't spot it because who'd want to look up at the fluorescent lights when cleaning. And, the bathroom could've used some TLC.

Yes, the place is half a small market, but things can be done to make the eating experience more pleasant (or is the point to leave as quickly as possible for the beach? I'm not sure considering there were 5 other people eating there at the time).

Again, fine food (the Acai smoothie and veegie burger were tasty), but I think next time I'm in South Beach, I'd rather pay as much for greater ambiance and a cleaner place to eat.

Pros: Tasty food., Pleasant service., Acai Smoothie.

Cons: Dirty., Decor is unpleasant., Fluorescent lights.

It's a good spot, acai bowls!

Their acai bowls are pretty good, but really expensive. I've had a few salads which had fresh, high quality ingredients.

Pros: Acai bowls, Ingredients

Cons: Expensive

Great vegan food and fresh juice!

Stopped in here while visiting South Beach and was happy to pick up some fresh juice to have while I was staying. Food was delicious with lots of vegan choices. Not too many choices for shopping but I did pick up some gluten free bread and some other "staples"

Pros: fresh juice, vegan food

Cons: dirty, small selection on shelf items

Apple a Day

Apple a Day is a small locally owned natural grocer with a deli inside. Upon first impression I felt it was a little dirty inside and the shelves seemed empty. I was in dire need of food (especially since most veggie restaurants seem to be closed on Sunday in Miami) so I went ahead an ordered. Most of the items in the case were vegan and the staff members were willing to make any wrap vegan for me. I ordered a vegetable wrap with hummus and avocado to go - it wasn't bad at all but needed extra hummus. If I lived in the area I'd certainly give them another try.
