While it’s not a fully vegan restaurant, they offer a separate vegan menu—which is fantastic! You’re automatically asked if you’d like the vegan menu when you’re seated, which shows how inclusive and thoughtful they are toward plant-based guests.

The staff was friendly and service was very good. The atmosphere was relaxed and stylish, making it a great spot for dinner.

Das Restaurant ist urig, rustikal eingerichtet. Ich hatte die Greek Bowl mit Couscoussalat, Linsen- und Kichererbsensalat, Baby-Kartoffeln und eine Soße mit Minze. Es war richtig lecker und absolut zu empfehlen. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an veganen Gerichten.

This restaurant has lots of vegan choices and offers dishes that you usually can't find in other greek restaurants in Germany. The vegan menu is separate, so you need to ask for it. The taste overall is good but the price is quite high, which might be normal for a big city like Munich.

Unfortunately, just because you offer vegan food doesn‘t make it good. We had a few different starters here - only the tzatziki was good. The melitzano tasted plastic and the green salad was not fresh. The worst part was the moussaka - just a bland, mushy mess: visible in the pictures too. The place itself is not bad as a setting, but we were seated next to some obnoxiously loud soccer fan bachelor party. Definitely wouldn‘t recommend that place!

there is a fully vegan menu with traditional and authentic greek dishes. About warm and cold starters, main course and different desserts. That’s super rare and i never had it before. Definitely try the vegan tzatziki, it’s so creamy.

Wir haben schon länger geplant bei unserem ersten Besuch in München im Apostel's essen zu gehen, das vegane griechische Essen wollten wir uns auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen.

Wir waren Samstags direkt nach der Öffnung da und wurden schnell bedient. Die vegane Auswahl ist wirklich riesig und deckt alle Gänge ab (v.a. vegane Nachspeisen findet man sonst eher selten).
Wir haben uns zu zweit zur Vorspeise Weinblätter und gebratene Artischocken, als Hauptspeise Moussaka und gebratene Aubergine, und als Nachspeise griechischen Joghurt und Orangenkuchen bestellt und geteilt. Alles super lecker und auch schön serviert!
Mit etwa 80€ nicht ganz preiswert, aber das war es uns definitiv wert!
Pros: Sehr viele Vor-, Haupt- und Nachspeisen, Gemütliche Atmosphäre , Sehr leckeres Essen

Read moreThe super nice waitor told us they changed and expanded the vegan options approx 5 months ago so I took pictures of the current menu. We had several starters:
Dolmadakia, Melitzanosalata, Fava, Kolokithokeftedes, Melitzanes/Kolokithakia Tragana, Gigantes and Politiki. Please note that the dishes do not come with bread automatically (as we expected it from a Greek restaurant) so we order pita. As dessert we had Galaktobureko. Except for the Tragana dish, which lacked flavor, and the dessert, which didn't have the consistency or taste the original dish is supposed to have, everything was perfect. The bill was approx 83,00€ with drinks, which is pretty much, but we really enjoyed our time there.
Pros: Many vegan options , Cozy nice restaurant , Very charming nice staff

We visited Apostel’s after finding the listing in Happy Cow. We had a wonderful meal - they have a fully vegan, separate menu. Pro hint: the printed vegan menu in the restaurant is only in German, but there is an English version on their website. We ordered the starter salad, the spinach cakes, and shared two entrees - vegan moussaka and a quartet of falafel. Portions were generous and the food was excellent. Our server was very friendly and extremely helpful in answering our questions. The restaurant is beautiful, which wonderful ambiance. Highly recommend!

Freundlicher Service und schmackhafte Gerichte - Edit
Die Auswahl an veganen Gerichten ist recht groß für ein griechisches Restaurant. Preislich gehoben (München halt). Mit Knoblauch wird eher dezent umgegangen, was manche enttäuschen mag, andere aber schätzen. Besonders die Vorspeisen sind zu empfehlen. Aufmerksamer Service.
