Tasty healthy sandwich

You know when you’re really hungry and you just devour a healthy meal? This sandwich with walnut bread, beetroot hummus and fresh shredded carrots greens was sooooo satisfying. And flat white with oat milk was ideal drink on a chilly break from sightseeing along Great Ocean Rd

Vegan pastie

Vegan options are clearly labelled. They include two vegan pasties, one vegan sandwich, two sweet options and one gf and vegan pie. Service is fast and the long lines clear pretty quickly. Coffee is good too and plant milk is available.

I had the wholemeal vegan pastie and it was good, nothing amazing but a good quick option when all the other restaurants are swamped

Veggie pasties

Bought the veggie pasties! They were pretty good and the bakery has clear labels to indicate that they are vegan.

Yummy food

This bakery is huge with decent vegan options. I got a veggie pasty and a double chocolate lamington and they were both fantastic.

Surprisingly many vegan options

I popped in really quickly as I had to catch a bus, but I was quite impressed by quite a few clearly labelled vegan options. The vegetable pasty that I bought was good. Quick and budget-friendly option in Apollo Bay.

Quick Vegan Nibbles

Easy to get a snack when you can't wait for other kitchens to cook something.

Pros: 2 Vegan & 2 GF Snacks , 2 Vegan pasty options $6.50/e , Ok chai with milk alternatives

Cons: Vegan pasty is bland needs more flavor , Really long lines when the tour busses stop , Bread on display where every customer can touch

Vegan pasties!

Nice bakery in a lovely little town! We stopped off here for lunch on a bus tour along the great ocean road! They have a vegan pasty, vegan sandwich and a couple of cake options! Price was very reasonable too!

Sold out on 2 days in a row

My partner and I went to this place at 11am on a Sunday and all of the vegan savoury options were sold out. We came back the following day at 8am and they were also all sold out. A bit of a let down considering the positive reviews here. If a product sells well, why not make more of it? They had 2 vegan cakes available and the lamington was fairly decent. Definitely check this place out but don't get your hopes up!

Classic Aussie Bakery with Vegan Options

What this country needs more of: Traditional Aussie Bakeries with vegan options. Had the Vegan Pastie and Vegan Lamington, both were good but the lamington was outstanding (very decedent). Was hoping to try a pie but they had no vegan pies warm at the time of our visit.

Pros: A classic bakery with vegan options, That lamington , Cheap and fast food

Cons: A few more vegan pie options needed!

Loved the vegan pie

Really loved this bakery. Especially the vegan chickpea and cauliflower curry pies. They also had vegan pasties, sandwhiches, double choc lamingtons and granola slices. I found the lamington to be nice, but very rich.
The pies can also be bought frozen, which was really handy to later pop in the microwave/oven for an easy dinner.

Pros: Vegan curry pies

Few vegan options

Only a couple of vegan options but I’m very appreciative that they have vegan pies and sweets available in a regional town bakery!

I had the regular vegan pastie which was a tad bland but nothing that tomato sauce can’t fix and the vegan lamington which was rich and delicious!

Heaps of seating inside and outside which was really handy as we came with a tour group

Pros: Cheap, Heaps of seating, Easy to grab and go

Cons: Needs more options!

Rich lamington

I had a double chocolate leamington as recommended by the staff and it was rich and dense. Lovely service staff and (I think) three vegan sweets on offer, and a couple of sandwiches.
We enjoyed our place in the sun with lamington and coffee watching 'the bay' in action.

Best sandwich ever

This little bakery advertises vegan options on their shop window and deliver a small but high quality vegan menu which includes a sandwich, two pies, and two desserts. The sandwich is ahhh mazing. Salad, avocado, and beetroot hommus in a delectable nut-studded rye sourdough. $10 seems steep for a sandwich but not when it's this good! Would definitely recommend
