Convenient if you're out late - Edit
Haven't been out to Ellum since the pandemic but Anvil has convenient vegan options that will get the job done. Tiki Loco is nearby and is all vegan.

Good beyond burger plus a few other options - Edit
Could be four stars if there were more options I think. This does seem to be the best spot if you’re looking for dinner drinks in Deep Ellum, and was a good place to start our night

Veggie burger - Edit
Just an FYI they for the moment have switched to a Beyond Burger instead of black bean. They were out of vegan cheese though so no 5 stars

Regular - Edit
The vegan chili is perfect on a cold day. It’s a bar so it’s bar food. Brunch is VERY busy so if you go then, expect a wait

Vegan, but crazy expensive - Edit
Vegan options but they don’t advertise it’s an extra $7 to make the nachos vegan with soy chicken and soy cheese/sour cream. I didn’t have any other options due to time so I got it but it was bland and extremely underwhelming. $17 for nachos is insane and should be mind blowing but they are very boring and borderline highway robbery.

Cons: Extra $3 for soy chicken, Extra $4 for soy cheese and sour cream, EXTRA $7 on top of $11 nachos to make them vegan

no vegan cheese or meat - Edit
We came all the way here from our hotel after a long flight - just to get some vegan pizza and nachos, after reading what was on HappyCow. And upon trying to order, discovered they had zero vegan cheese or meats. The server said they had been out for at least a little while. The menu online is not representative of what they actually offer in the restaurant. So I can’t recommend it to my fellow vegans. By the time I came here, everything else was closed, so I went to bed hungry and very sad in my first night in Dallas.

pretty good vegan bar food - Edit
Had the vegan tacos on their brunch menu - all they offer on Saturdays from 11-3. The rest of the menu had some decent options ... like vegan chili. As for the vegan tacos - they were pretty good... for bar food. Was really just happy they had vegan options to begin with. The tacos aren't something I'd go out of the way to eat but they did the job and they were cheap - $7.95 for a plate of four tacos.

Fun for everyone! - Edit
First of all, you have to get the "chicken" quesadilla! They have the faux chicken, vegan cheeses and sour cream! I hadn't had such a satisfying vegan quesadilla in all my years of being vegan. They have other veg choices too of course as well as many omni choices if you're in a mixed group. Their cocktails are decent but could be a little better but we overlooked this with the awesome food and great service. Plus this place is in Deep Ellum so it's always trending.

Nice vegan options - Edit
Offering 2 indoor bike parking racks was awesome. Combine that with great service and really decent vegan offerings and I'm a happy camper. The reuben made vegan was great. Several other vegan options. More than one local brew on tap too.

amazing nachos but false advertising - Edit
Beware the Anvil Pub. The waitress told us they haven't carried soy chicken for at least 1 year. So you can get vegan nachos and chili and pizza only, which were tasty. The nachos were way better than those at Spiral Diner. Scary but nice bouncers at the door.

Cons: sketchy , outdated menu , tude
