Second visit/second review

Had to come again to make sure this place was as incredible as the first visit.
Did not fail in impressing. Ordered papaya salad again and a different curry with brown rice. Absolutely phenomenal.

For the price okay

The curry has not as much flavour as expected and not a lot of veggies. The price for the meals is low, but so is the taste. Be careful when ordering noodles or fried rice, they put egg in it!

Cheap food, okay quality

Food was cheap, 60 baht for curries, and 50 for veges

Pros: Lot of vegan options, Lively location, Brown rice is served and cheap juices

Cons: I mentioned no sugar but I believe they put some, Could do better on taste for a similar price

Cheap but not Authentic

Firstly, this place is very cheap as you can get a main dish for about 50 baht. The portions are also generous so it's good value for money. However, the food is unfortunately quite disappointing. They obviously cater for western tastes which is a shame because it isn't anything like what myself or my Thai partner are used to. We stressed that we like very spicy but there was not a single hint of chilli in either of our dishes.
The spring roll was also a let down. They forgot it and when they did bring it there was only one of them. Fair enough as it was only 20B but they should make it clear that you only get one piece. Especially since there were two of us.
The restaurant is often busy but I have never seen a Thai person in there when I've looked which shows that local people don't like it. It isn't an authentic Thai experience. The restaurant is also very basic. I didn't see any desserts that are mentioned in the description.
I wouldn't come back unless I was particularly short on cash. However if you are coming from the west and don't like your food too spicy or flavourful then you might like it.

Great food at good price

My partner and I ate a lunch here one day. We each had a vegan fried rice meal with tofu. It had great flavour and we were both really happy with it, even though we tend to have quite different tastes. The meal was 60 baht, and 30 baht for a fresh fruit drink.

Note - make sure you specify no egg if you are vegan.

Pros: Cheap , Very tasty

we love this place!

since we discovered anutta we've been eating here everyday.
it's very affordable thai food and they have great healthy side dishes like kale, broccoli, mushrooms, veggies etc.
the portions are great and everything tastes good.
the owners are really nice and the place has great vibes overall.
many vegans and veggies come here.
they also serve raw pie and kombucha!

Pros: very affordable, veggie side dishes, good wifi

Cons: on the side of a road
